All this talk about our O being so bad has got me wondering why so few people are talking about how bad the D is playing. I know most people will say OH we're young there, which is true, but that doesn't make up for the fact that we suck on D right now. Dline play has been pitiful. We were blizting against UC and still couldnt hit the QB. UAB was right, we do need to hit the weights. LB are athletic and fast, but have been a disapointment so far this year. NO true leader out there and a lot of overpursuing. Secondary has not stepped up. Camon never wraps up and overpursues a lot. He is a senior so no excuse there. Verpeale is flat out too small right now. At 180 he isnt big enough yet. Jenkins actually played well at UC and got screwed on the 2 pass interference calls. Can't wait to have Johnnie and Tim Jones back next year. Hopefully the strength coach can put some beef on the D.

Well I guess the keg will have to show up at about 5am to give me time to get game ready. Student attendance will probably horrible. My last game as a student and I really wanted a night game.

Well in their defense Reap, when this game was scheduled the fb team was playing at 1 and bb at 7. However, Sunshine switched it so that the fb game would be on TV.

Exactly. I pulled mine one time and it took about 6 weeks til I could sprint without pain and about 8 til I was back at full speed. A full speed that is nowhere near JRs full speed hahaha.

I saw a flyer promoting advance companion tickets for this game. These are the tickets that students can buy for there friends to come and sit in the student section. They are only 10 dollars for this game. You must get them before gameday though. Usually these tickets are 15 before gameday.

Good news for Haupt. Hopefully he diecides to come to USF where he will have a shot at immediate playing time. I also heard he is grauating in December and would be in camp for Spring Ball. This would help his chances of immediate playing time immensely.

We gotta schedule this one if we can. Its not that far of a roadie and would be great for publicity. If we could sneak a 2-1 for one out of the deal it would even be sweeter.

I saw the game also. Big Boy Bailey is the only back that I would want off that team. He is a bruiser with some moves. Bien hit it right on with his assessment of McCray. Hes got speed but little moves. He would get eaten up in D1 as a rb.

Leavitt is the guy who took the job when we didn't have a program. Leavitt will not be leaving now that our future is looking so good.

Utah would not be undefeated in any of the big conferences. The teams are just that much better from top to bottom than what Utah faces on a regular basis. Utah's physical condition would be tested a lot more if they had tough opponents week in and week out. The teams in the big conferences basically beat each other up during the conference season. You also have a crowd factor. Playing in front on 30,000 fans is a lot different then playing in front of the 60,000 fan averages in the big conferences. Thats why even the good teams in Big Coferences have to squeek them out on the road.

Hopefully our Bulls will continue to grow and will be better at the end of the season.

Thats how recruiting goes. Be happy when a lot of talent is mentioning us, but dont get your hopes up until they actually sign.

Monticello Jefferson County High's Carlton Hill, the nation's No. 9 quarterback who verbally committed to South Florida in August, said Monday he is undecided. Hill, USF's top recruit, said he is also considering Miami and Auburn, but didn't know when he would visit those schools. Hill said he hasn't contacted USF's coaches about his change of heart and probably would wait until National Signing Day on Feb. 2 to make a final decision. ``I'm still unclear,'' Hill said. ``I'm not sure on USF. Lets go Bulls. Our team is very young and doing well in the tounament this year will help us for next year. I agree with Sheriff and think that if we win the first game we get an at large bid.

Thats because Huey was 6-5 225-230 and Peyton is 6-5 185. However, JP will be a much better wr than Huey was.

Gotta agree with you BullDoug. They had great camera positions for that game. The Memphis Blue looked pretty sweet. That being said I hope that blue has a lot of green on it when they visit Tampa.

I think some of you guys don't think before you base your opinions. We don't have the cadillac recruits of college bball. We play in a conference where half of the teams do. This year we will be improved. How improved I don't know because I haven't seen the new guys play yet. Just like the Reaper said I will be there rain or shine.

Haupt was on ESPN today. They were asking him how the firing of Zook effected the recruiting. He sounded awfully excited when talking about spurrie being rehired. I would say if UF hires Steve then we lose out on this guy.
