  1. The Virginia tech ranking is the one that really pushed me over the edge this week. VT lost 49-35 to Old Dominion, who by the way is 1-4. For more context into how bad that loss is, ODU lost by 42 to FCS Liberty, lost to ECU, Charlotte, and FIU. This today has made me completely lose faith that any of the games matter
  2. I'm looking for USF to be one or two slots closer to a ranking. That's #25, 24, 23, 22, and 20 all went down. But a lot of teams that are just outside the top 25 with us won, and may jump us, including F'n 1 loss Boise
  3. I sort of like having a bye week before UMass. It will give our hurt players an extra week to heal up, while the healthy boys rock out vs our second FCS opponent.
  4. This fan base is at an all time low after being 4-0. We have no idea how good ECU will be. Maybe ECU beats Old Dominion this week? ECU just beat the snot out of North Carolina by 30+ points the week before us, and Montgomery is on his 3rd season there. We win how Charlie likes it now. Not by 50 like Willie
  5. A genius idea that won't happen. We have plenty of depth at WR. I'd love to see USF get more creative with getting Tyre the ball more often
  6. The East is looking to be very separated from top 3 and bottom 3, while the West is a complete toss up. Houston definitely has the upper hand unless we knock them off, then who knows. Should be a great finish
  7. I'll break it down into two tiers. Tier 1 has the games that affect USF's strength of schedule directly, and Tier 2 has the games that will eliminate competition for a ranking, OR a notable team that a conference member beat that we want to do well. The bold team winning will generally help USF. Tier 1 Memphis @ Tulane Line: Memphis -14.5 Temple @ Boston College Line:Boston College -12.5 Bowling Green @ Georgia Tech Line: GT -28.5 UMass @ Ohio Line: Ohio -13.5 Pitt @ UCF Note: During UCF's conference play, I put them tier 1 for a loss no matter what. Cincinnati @ UConn Old Dominion @ East Carolina Line: ECU -7 Tier 2 UCLA @ Colorado West Virginia @ Texas Tech Central Michigan @ Michigan State Army @ Buffalo Oklahoma St @ Kansas Texas @ Kansas St Michigan @ Northwestern Virginia Tech @ Duke Boise St @ Wyoming South Carolina @ Kentucky
  8. We had a pretty costly fumble by Antoine who was only playing because Horne is out. He's definitely one of our more explosive players, and he was on track to be a bigger part of the offense as the year wore on
  9. Why haven't we seen Ryshene Bronson? Is he hurt, or is he being outplayed to the point of zero playing time? I seem to remember him being pretty skilled
  10. The o-line is the obvious problem. Missing Terrance Horne for the year is going to be a bigger problem, as Antoine isn't quite cutting it to the standards we hold our offense. We also were missing Wilcox, who we will need to be stellar if this offense is going to roll.
  11. I remember the 2016 Temple Owls didn't start off the year well at all, they had relatively low point totals, and came out 3-3. They won the conference, and finished the year out with a couple of shut outs vs uconn and tulane, and held and all time high powered USF offense to 30 points. Point is, we are 4-0. If anything, I LOVE the clutch factor this team has. We can definitely win this conference, especially considering we all know what game we need to win to do it.
  12. I think uconn, umass, Tulsa, temple, and tulane are all certain wins. Cincinnati is a 75% chance of a win Ucf and Houston are toss ups. This puts us at about 11-1 or more likely 10-2
  13. I'm confused how Virginia Tech and Boise are ranked, wow
  14. I think we should stop scheduling FCS and most MAC teams outside Toledo. P5 and maybe some MWC teams, or higher profile c-usa teams.
  15. From what I saw of the Tulsa and Temple game, Temple out talented them, but I'm not sure I've watched a game with less talent at QB in a long time
  16. Agreed bro, this isn't Willie's old offense. Seems like most of our games are ball control wins now, where we focus on efficiency on offense, rather than running up the score. USF wins 38-23ish
  17. Yeah, Russo and Nutile at Temple are pretty terrible, but have you seen Luke Skipper from Tulsa? That guy would be lucky to start at some FCS teams. Might be the only worse QB situation than Temple
