  1. Two guys that will go down as one of the best At their respective postitions in program history. Kids need to look towards these guys to see that it's not all about being buried in the elite programs.
  2. Very funny, I was referring to USF football jersey colors.
  3. He's the best. I'm curious if he would entertain changing position or if he goes the BJ route (NO NOT CANADA.)
  4. Yeah but Gold is not a primary color. Also why we don't have a Gold jersey.
  5. Sad day in Bulls Broadcasting. Was hoping he would bring the #STICKCARRIER passion to USF.
  6. Received mine too! The tickets have various USF fans on them, who are all instantly famous now. I'm not against the color schemes.
  7. Also they are almost complete on the new Andros Village, and it looks freakin gorgeous. The Publix is a still being constructed.
  8. That would be amazing. USF would win but UF would fire Mac immediately after and offer CCS lol
  9. If Strong gets hired away it's because he was very successful here. I would say that is a good thing.
  10. Find it hard to believe USF will lose at home, but who on the road? Bulls run the table.
  11. 5.) There's a brand new coaching staff that hasn't had a lick of recent success. They want to prove they are the best in the business and will wreak havoc on the AAC to prove it. Maybe they are looking towards the next job, but right now know they need to prove it with a loaded roster.
  12. We don't see any concession money. We pay $1 M. I believe we get a quarter or so of ticket income? We are clearly a rental at RayJay (again not a bad thing.)
  13. Sawtelle did pretty well last year, all things considered. Don't forget, the DC didn't have the best game plan, and a lot of that made the LBs look out of position. I'm happy with Auggie and Nico, it's rotating after them that gets a little inexperienced. I bet a guy like Keirston Johnson gets a lot of reps.
  14. Wish I could conduct a poll. 1.) Who thinks an OCS needs to be built regardless of the cost and amenities? 2.) Who thinks an OCS like the one proposed in the feasibility study is the way to go, regardless if the financing is there right now or in the immediate future? 3.) Who thinks RayJay is the best option and an OCS should not be in the plan? 4.) Who thinks regardless what happens, USF already failed for not building an OCS a decade ago? Seems like we have a high variation of opinions here, and to be fair, TBP is a great microcosm of the market. We have students, alumni, season ticket holders, parents, married folks, single folks, men, women (??), occasional attendees, diehard attendees and out of towners all contributing here. I'd really like to see what the overall statistical opinion is on the board. @Brad is this something you could produce? I would love to have an OCS if the money is there, but I think it's unfair to blame the President and Provost for not allocating state funds or donor dollars targeted towards education or campus renovation as opposed to using that for a stadium or the football program. Now, USF just fund raised 1B dollars in the unstoppable campaign, so clearly fundraising is possible; but are there donors specifically willing to donate for an OCS? Only Harlan and his staff know that question. And I would venture to guess that the feasibility study wouldn't of had a meeting if they didn't think it wasn't possible. Also UCF has had football longer than USF, that creates alumni who have watched football longer than USF. That is a factor. If you graduated USF in 1980, there's no guarantee you would instantly become a diehard USF football fan. Our fan and alumni base starts in 1996 and we have a state of the art facility to play football unlike some schools who have started around us and don't have them. This is also a factor. I'm sure funds could be moved around to build an erector set of USF did not have a place to play football.
  15. It's more experience than anything. I expect Polk to be a beast though. It's possible guys like Danny Thomas step up in a big way. I also believe having coaches like Brian Jean-Mary and of course Strong will help these guys succeed
  16. And that's without mentioned Deadrin Senat. There are bodies there to rotate; LB is the larger concern, but with only 2 out there they shouldn't be terribly exposed except in the run game.
  17. Yeah and that game wasn't close, but again Herman was gone. The hardest part about those who want to talk smack about the AAC bowl record, is how many of those came against an interim coach. No excuses, I know, but still. I think you can compare 2017 USF with 2015 Houston better though. New coach, but a lot of returning pieces. I'm just glad we don't visit UConn in November. 2016 Houston was more the 2006-2010 USF.
