I spent my childhood in New Orleans before moving to Miami at 9 years old. I am 37 and been a Saints fan since I was a kid. Anybody over 30 knows how horrible the Saints were. One thing I never did was **** on my own team. No matter how bad we got or how sorry our quarterback was, I always had hope that we would be successful and during our worse years, I was simply happy for whatever wins we got. In the end, my team has finally won a championship and success…well except for the last few seasons. The moral of the story is that USF like every other team goes through their rough patches. You guys aren’t the only team to ever suck. I never went to USF nor am I from Tampa. A matter of fact I graduated from UF and my first team is the Gators. I kind of became a fan because of my Haitian descent. At one point USF had like 14 Haitians on the team and I started watching the games because of that, but as I started going to the blogs, I fell in love with the USF journey to relevancy. (I think they need more Haitian players again lol) One thing that is not cool is how negative the USF culture has gotten. I know you are tired of losing, but s**ting on your own team will not help. Taggart has three years of great recruiting and the missing piece- the quarterback, should improve this year. I truly like Brett Kean and that Juco pick up has some decent footage. I predict Brett Kean will save this team as a true freshman like Hackenberg did for Penn State. We are loaded at wide receiver, so as long as you can throw a half decent pass, we should be fine in the new spread system. Personally, I feel we will have the best defense in the AAC. In the end, even if Taggart gets fired, the next coach will have a pretty awesome squad to work with, so stop being so negative. The future looks bright and the football Gods only reward those who keep faith in their team. As you can see, my Gators have not had much success the past few years, but we have a new coach and all we can do is give him the benefit of the doubt and be positive. Now I know what you are saying, how can I be a fan of both, but, I consider UF my wife and USF my mistress lol To be honest I spend more time in the USF blogs. I am a sucker for a good underdog story like Rocky so the journey is much more fun with USF. Trust me, these hard times will only make the good years feel even better. I think Tice is a great running back as well. He may not be as good as Mack, but he should do a solid job as the back up and maybe get 5-600 yards rushing.

The video on him looks pretty good but I think Brett Kean takes the starting position.

Darius Tice should feel insulted. He was not even mentioned. He will be the #2 running back and to me, he has just as much potential as Mack, plus I expect him to play with a chip on his shoulder. Mark my works, this running game will be sick this year. Everybody has experience and have physically matured. Oh yea, a fullback that's pretty awesome and can catch.

I like the fact that a lot of the players from the old offense is gone. We have tons of new 3-4 star talent that has been red shirting, getting in shape, learning the playbook and are hungry. The same goes for the defense. We have a better defensive coach and more depth. So I think they will be on that Michigan State level and start shutting teams out. I mean last year we shut out Wisconsin and other teams in the first half, but was exhausted in the 2nd half. I mean the offense should be good enough to at least eat more time and give the defense some rest. We have 3 great running backs, 1 awesome fullback and two good tight ends. Doubt him all you want, but I believe Brett Kean is the real deal and saves this team this year. I keep saying it, he runs a 4.7, stronger and quicker release than both quarterbacks and he is more accurate. Hell even the Junior College transfer has some awesome footage. He was like one of the top quarterback his junior year, had a season ending injury his senior year and played injured during his Junior college year. As a fan your expectations gotta start high. Trust the Football Gods lol Hell, look at some of the footage from a few of our current recruits. This team has talent. Hopefully they can put it all together.

Kean has a better arm, quicker release and runs a 4.7 40. I am confident he will do well in the new system.

What's good, this is everybody's favorite Gator who follows the Bulls. I like this team. Everybody seems to forgot we have 20 Freshman coming in and at least half of them will be good enough to fill the remaining holes. And mark my words, BRETT KEAN will be USF's savior lol He has a waaay quicker release than both options we have and he has the heart that a quarterback needs. He runs a 4.7 40 and has a better arm than Flowers or Bench. I'm not debating nothing, just remember who said it when we start winning. I'm not worried about this year. I also think Darius Tice is going to have a breakout year. People keep overlooking him but it gives him a chip on his shoulder. I see him taking the 2nd spot. Defense is Great. Senat will emerge as the leader. I think USF will surprise many.

He knows he has a chance to start at USF and will have plenty of receivers, tight ends and 3 good running backs and a fullback who can catch. I see plenty of reason for him to keep his word.

I like Kean. I think he is going to win the job. His release is waaay quicker then the other options.

Flip to who? Akron, Ball State, Western Kentucky or maybe FIU? The dude isn't going anywhere. If he flips for a MAC or CUSA school, shut the program down. Still hoping for a better QB prospect than Kean and a tranfer/JUCO. He is like one or 2 games from a state championship. He might get more offers.
