  1. I attribute that to growth on our coaching staff. No need to take risk just to be taking risks. Get the points and keep it moving.
  2. Joiner is looking great out there. This is our most balance game of the season.
  3. I feel Jacquez Williams needs to backup Cheney. He has more speed than I thought. Ross needs more snaps. Mac harris is starting over Gordon? Interesting
  4. In addition to being 1-4, UAB had extra motivation as well by having like 100 kid cancer patient names on the back of their jerseys. There was no way them boys were going to disappoint those little kids.
  5. They scored like 20 or fewer pts in the last 4 games b4 playing us.
  6. I had a post prior to the FAU game saying that they can't score points lol I think that made top 5 for "didn't age well"
  7. We are 1 season ahead of schedule so let me update the rest for you lol 2023 4-8 - make bowl game 2024 8-10 - AAC Title & playoff loss 2025 Un-Duh-Feeted - AAC Title and Nation Championship
  8. We score 50 pts against a team that has been holding other teams to 25 pts. I guess they have faith that we can win 2 out of 3.
  9. It took 7/8 games for our running backs to step it up. 8 games for the offensive line and 9 games for a complete offensive game. I'm hoping the secondary can figure it out by the next game. They have been brutal all year.
  10. One positive note flew by everybody's head. We only gave up 1 sack vs UCONN and 0 sacks vs Memphis. I think our Offensive line have finally figured it out. After averaging 4 sacks a game, that is great. As long as Byrum has time to throw, he will be ok.
  11. It's up to you to drag your feet and cry along the journey to success or you can be grateful for the improvements and lessons learned along the way. We scored 50 against a Memphis team that was holding their opponents to 25 pts per game even after the North Texas blowout. We finally figured out the offense. It took 9 games, but we scored our first "fiddy" point game. If we can figure out how to keep teams under 40 pts then we have a chance to win out or get to a bowl game. 12. I feel it's the coach's playcalling and lack of adjustments that is our main problem. Besides the secondary, I don't think the defense is that bad. Even with the secondary, I'm seeing way more players out of place than simply getting beat. We have surpassed most of our stats from last year with 3 games remaining. Most of the secondary players are CJS recruits. I see many transferring out this year. 14. Thats what Im saying. If you are 8th or lower in TFLs that means you have the ability to get past the line of scrimmage and make them have negative yards. The players can be that bad.

  17. My thing is that I'm seeing a lot of quick throws from the other teams. It's like the back 7 seem to always be out of place.
  18. I attribute that to bad 3rd down play calling. Those blitzes are killing us b/c we can not defend the pass.
  19. Our Strength of Schedule is 94th in the nation. We are ranked 7th in TFLs which to me means that our players can make plays. Todd Orlando's play calling sucks!
  20. My goals for this defense: Original – 25-30 sacks, 85+ TFLs (On Track), and 10 INTs Updated with the last 3 games - 22-25sacks, 85+ TFLs (On Track), and 7 INTs this year. I'll be happy to just reach 20 sacks this year. As for TFLs, we are still on track for 85+ and can even get to 90 TFLs and 7-8 ints. I would like for us to improve from last year.
