  1. I'm a Saints fan. We sucked most of my life. When i moved to Miami as a kid, my nickname at the park was the "ain'ts". lol We hd some success prior to Drew Brees, but he has brought us a Superbowl and many wins. Hopefully Jameis Winston can learn from him and develop into a player that can replace him. So yes, this man gets my priase. You are probably a Bucs fan so I understand your dislike of him
  2. Drew Brees has made WR who didnt play at big time colleges stars. Here are some of our best receivers that played under Drew Brees. So yes, if these guys who played at lesser levels than USF can have success, so can MVS. Marques Colston - Hoftra Lance Moore - Toledo Joe Horn - Itawamba Community College
  3. Winning makes people forget about things. He will be ok.
  4. When you have Drew Brees as your QB, you have confidence in any receiver you get.
  5. Drew Brees > Aaron Rodgers......Drew Brees + MVS = more freakin TDs than he's had with Green Bay. Being a USF fan you have watched the player waaaay more than anybody else so you know what that player can do. Truth be told, I wasn't sure MVS had the "hands" to make it in the league. Since he has been in the league, nobody has mentioned any drop ball issues. He has actually surpassed my expectations.
  6. Pat White is his ex- Qb coach when he played at Alcorn. Even though he is the running back coach now, Im sure he gave CJL a lot of good info on him.
  7. I tried to hold on to Rogers, but Green Bay started running the ball more and his number dropped. lol
  8. Naw this team is full of followers and role players. None of players stepped up after QF Marlon Mack, SJ, Auggie and Senat left. What team leaders do we have? We have great athletes, but simply lack leaders on this team.
  9. Rodgers got dropped from my fantasy team. MVS runs a 4.4/4.5 40yd and made plays when given opportunity. I dont see what he did wrong.
  10. Green Bay sucked. I would love if MVS came to the Saints. Drew Brees will no what to do with him.
  11. Great story. I think my dislike for his father made me ignore what a great addition we added to our coaching staff. I think we will win at least 9 games this year. Our head coach is a master with WRs, Our OC is a prodigy that utilizes tight ends. Pat White has had success as a QB coach and now a running back coach. We have speed, fast receivers, running backs (need more size or a fullback), tight ends (I think Thomas Nance will be a star) and 5 QBs ( I think Noah Johnson starts). There is no reason that we cant score at least 30pts a game this year.
  12. He actually went on record last year saying that was his goal. But I dont think that is where his legacy will end.
  13. I hear what you are saying. Truth be told I was already impressed with KJ's maturity, but he has great leadership skills. The coaches can only do so much in terms of helping so many players become better men. So its great to see some players stepping up as leaders on the team. I felt we have lacked "player leadership" since QF left and thats one of the reason we have been playing w/o heart. In the past, players like Selvie, Pierre-Paul, Auggie Sanchez, Deadrin Senat (very cool dude), Grothe, QF, Sam Barrington and others had that maturity and leadership skills that contributed to our more successful times.
  14. Many people from his level did well when they move up to D1, some even did well in the NFL. My point is that he was able to play period and have some success. I'm happy for the man.
  15. Either way, he had a LOT OF SUCCESS his one year at Samford and based off their twitter page they seem to have appreciated him and posted many of his highlights. He started only 8 games and still threw for over 2000 yds and 500 yds rushing.
  16. It worked well for Chris Oladukan. He is like a God at Samford. His highlights are crazy.
  17. I can definitely see him having a great career after the NFL Whether as a coach or executive.
  18. KJ Sails maturity level is pretty high. Definitely has great leadership skills.
  19. I only knew of him as a coach until youtube came out. I didnt know buddy was that great a player until i found old clips.
  20. He might as well switched positions and played fullback. He had the speed and size.
  21. Treatment is not a cure. My point was, many people already do things that risk their life or health on a daily basis. We eat fried and fast food, have unprotected sex, drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes, dont get yearly check ups from the doctor....yet Corona some how puts the fear of God in everybody. And Im not taking away from the virus and quaranting at home, but eventually life has to go on.
