  1. If he never coaches again then cool. He lived his life, had some success, made millions, hundreds of players and fellow coaches look up to him, beautiful family and had some failures as a head coach but life goes on. What are your accomplishments besides being butt hurt and bitter towards this man? Texas sucked b4 he got there so there wasnt nothing to destroy. USF's best players graduated after his first year here and he had to work with the group that was left. We still got a 10 win season out of him. BJM has a good job at Michigan and will probably work his way up to DC there. I use to be a Gator fan and is thankful for all the success his defenses brought to the team during his years there. I get it. He gave us a 7-5 & 4-8 season. Not sure how it makes you hate another grown man so much.
  2. If players get kicked off a team it's probably b/c THEY have an attitude or behavioral issues. No coach will simply kick good players off a team for fun. Taggart's 2016 class failed us all and cause this shift in luck. Once Flowers, Deadrin Senat, and Bruce Hector graduated, we lost our heart in offense and defense. We had to play young players and transfers. And you best believe, the same players CCS brought here will bring us success these next two years under the guidance of CJS.
  3. Calculating a winning percentage based off of 3 stops is dumb. It would work better is he had 4 or 5 stops.
  4. My point is....... that his winning percentage is 58.3% and not 33.3
  5. Im not trying to make CCS a better head coach than what he was, but wont let you post some ******** stats that are false on the man. He sucked at USF but still left with a winning record here and still the ONLY coach who has completed a FULL 10 win season. (Taggart left early that one season). Would have been 11 if that UMASS game didnt get canceled. Charlie StrongCareer Record: 11 Years, 74-53, .583 Win% Bowl Record: 8 Games, 4-4, .500 Win%
  6. I think the next players to get drafted are K.J Sails, Mike Hampton, Noah Johnson and Donovan Jennings.
  7. B/C the emoji exists Im excited about CJS and this upcoming season. Im poo-pooing all all negativity.
  8. Marlon Mack had his first 1000 yard rushing season last year. Plenty of dope highlights. They would be a fool to trade him.
  9. Last year our offense gave our defense PLENTY of playing time lol I would hope the experience, another off season of conditioning and the new coaching staff gives us a much better defensive product. Our DTs gotta step up. I feel thats been our biggest weakness.
  10. Boo to the whole list. My favorite is all green with the shiny gold helmet and the black unis...those 2 should be in the top 10
  11. We have John Waller and Pickney for that lol
  12. Our starting DT Blake Green is like 280Ibs.
  13. Vaccine? Maaaan I'm not touching any type of Corona Vaccine. There have been plenty of epidemics and outbreaks that the world rebounded from and life went on. While I don't think we should rush starting football back, I don't see any reason to cancel the entire season or wait on some vaccine that has been barely tested.
  14. I think he is mainly a defensive tackle. He is the dude on the left and at 290 Ibs buddy looks to be all muscle. The story pasted below is a good one. When he got injured last year, they stated he spent his time unofficially working as an assistant coach. So he's definitely a great character pick up and possible team leader. With him, the linebacker from Michigan, Bo peek and the players from last year, we are good on the defensive line. Hopefully we can hold a team to under 200 yards rushing this year. https://www.greenvilleonline.com/story/sports/high-school/2020/03/19/former-christ-church-football-star-thad-mangum-transferring-from-wofford/2869066001/
  15. CJS broke his foot? Man i hope he goes back to coaching. Maybe Taggart can open up a spot for him.
  16. Even if he doesn't win the starting job, if he got beat out, then that mean Fortin is really good or McCloud got better. So either way, this may be the deepest group of QBs we ever had if you count the 2 recruits (both whom I like) coming in.
  17. With today's technology, the players still can get a whole lot of classroom time with the coaches to learn the playbook and watch/study film. Which to me is not bad. I'm more worried about them staying/getting in shape on their own. I agree with all that was said.
  18. Many people said the same about Steve McNair who played at Alcorn State. He had a pretty good NFL career. I'm not saying he is the next coming of jesus, but out of all transfer QBs we ever had, he is coming in with the most experience. I see no reason for him not to be in the conversation of starting. He was a low end NFL prospect prior to his injury.
  19. Yup Pat White must have some type of coaching skills.
