Byrum Brown wants to go to the NFL. If he gets us to the playoffs he is going to be a first round draft pick. USF offers him the easiest path to the 12 team playoffs for 2024,2025&2026, yet he still gets to play against a few P5 power houses on case they question his level of competition. BB may not become a millionaire at USF but you best believe he will earn a nice few dollars. 2026 will probably be the easiest OOC schedule we will have. With the top G5 recruiting class in 2024, we should be a powerhouse by 2026. This is the best place for Byrum and if he does transfer, then it wasn't meant to be and another QB will take us to the promise land. We need to stop being such scary and insecure fans.

The toughest teams we will face is Alabama, Miami and Memphis. I refuse to be scared of a Tulane team that lost its starting QB and coach. Year 1 will be rough. Miami will have a new QB as well. So while that QB is getting settled in, we have a chance. Memphis is good, but their defense sucked bad. We put 583 yds of offense on them and almost beat them this year. to my understanding we might be able to get Vaughn, Hickman, Shuler And Ross back for another year in addition to the stud JUCO DE Pettus and transfer Obi Ezeigbo. If we can get a few more CBs, DBs and Safeties we will be ok. We redshirted most of our freshman speedsters this year, but I feel they will be ready in 2024. Next year is going to be nice. As much as i like the transfer portal it feels good not having to add 10-15 transfers to our team for once.

So 2 win improvement? Hey if thats ur confidence level in the team then all power to you.

Geez lets just enjoy the past season for at least 1 day before we try to speak any scared or negativity into existence. A majority of QBs in the portal have the following - 1. A coach that got fired or took another job 2. They are a grad transfer 3.They sat the bench and want to start. 4. D2 or FCS starter that wants to move up 5. Want to escape a bad team. Byrum family is not broke or poor so money is not the end all. His goal is to make it to the NFL. If he can get a G6 team to the playoffs, he will definitely be a high draft pick. He has everything he needs at USF to reach that goal. He also had a chip on his should for the lack of recruitment from bigger teams in which his mother said to make them regret it. We have a great coach, a top 20 offense, incoming talent and an easier path to the 12 team playoffs than most P5 schools....at least for the next 2 years.

Ha! We actually got 2 Haitian players from Haiti High #1 (Edison). So far we had a few Broward schools and Haiti hHgh #2 (North Miami and my High School). I can't believe we are finally going to certain areas to recruit. KP and CAG have no fear. I respect that.

Even though I wanted Willie Simmons, I realize that we need a more vocal couch. Golesh is a great promoter. His advocating skills are great. He goes hard for USF. We gotta pay that man in year 3.

We have the worse pass defense in CFB. If Im an OC, I am throwing the ball until you prove that you can stop my passing plays. I have a hard time believing that they plan on running the ball.

Whats sad is that the Penn State fans are complaining about this hire.

Outside of our secondary, I never felt like other teams were more athletic or that much more athletic. A majority of the losses or disappointments I attribute to our lack of execution or play calling.

The Bad - I don't feel we played well this year at all. I feel we have had maybe 1 or 2 complete games. The rest of the games either the offense played well and the defense sucked or vice versa. The Good - 1. #17 in offense 2. Top 10 in TFLs and improved in all defensive statistics 3. We still went 6-6 playing badly. Just imagine when we start playing well?
