    We need a Nate Allen, a George Selvie, a J.P.P. , and Mclain on defense to show up. Can the Bulls we have now make those kinda caliber players? It's possible but not likely yet.

    Absolutely. This is a team based on a power run game. We aren't going to score 30 points every game, especially if we can't throw all that well. We only win with low turnover counts. Taggart allegedly picked Flowers because he turns the ball over less. If he keeps turning the ball over, Bench will be in there. I almost got that last sentence out without laughing. He only turned it over once so come on its not like he gave it up 4 times.

    This is all fun & stuff, but we have soooooo little room to gloat right now unless we prove we can beat a suckyer team first. This may be the only chance we get to say that to them.

    I'm not sure losing to FSU by a small margin means anyone takes us seriously...outside of us. More likely, it'd be viewed as how FSU has dropped off after losing so many players to the NFL and graduation. I REALLY wish Golston didn't transfer from ND. If FSU has Maguire as its starting QB, that's a 8-4 team, at best. If we upset in ole USF format and continue to win they will dang sure think of us higher!
