I don't have Brighthouse, so if anyone could give any highlights of the interview I would appreciate it.  Thanks.

Saw the interview... Matt seemed very soft spoken, don't know if it was that he is camera shy, nervous, or just very humble, or a combo of them all.

He said his dad drilled it into his head that he has to work awefully hard over the summer and all the time if he thinks he is going to win the starting QB position as a freshman... but Matt thinks he can do it.

There was also a question about Carlton Hill and Matt said he thinks Carlton will be good whatever position he plays, even if it is starting QB, but that he thinks if he works hard he can bet out Carlton, Courtney and Pat.

Matt came across as intelligent, thoughtful and well spoken.

He said he thinks that USF is similar to Lake Gibson in the way they use their QB's in that they throw a lot but also allow their QB's to run.

One of the reasons he chose USF was because he wanted to stay close to home.

He didn't seem unhappy about committing early, although some of his teammates wished he would have waited longer so that more coaches would have come, but as it was his teammates were happy about all the schools that still came by despite his early commitment.

He's excited about playing at RayJay and travelling to the different stadiums in the Big East.

He said his dad has drummed it into him that he will have to work hard right from the start and he expects to do just that. He's not afraid of the competion at QB and thinks if he works hard this summer he can beat them all out and get a chance to start as a Freshman.

It looks like we will have quite a battle to see who wins out.

sounds like he knows what he needs to do.....

May the best man win the job!

The competition will help all of them in the long run.
