A long and interesting list of names.  Should be interesting with the Yanks attempting to bid for everyone this offseason. I hope that Lamar keeps his head out of his rear end and makes some useful signings that make us DRAY fans forget the awful "Hit Show" years.

No kidding, and players have until Nov 11th to file for free agency, so the list could get much longer and much more interesting.

Somehow, this Hot Stove just won't have the same mistique about it as last year.  The biggest free agent (pedro), is just as desirable to get rid of TO the other team as he is to keep.

I just hope Pedro uses the Sox to drive up his price for the Yankees so they can take on ANOTHER bloated contract for an oft-injured, past-his-prime player.   ;D

Could be an even more interesting offseason if Sosa and Randy get traded, which is what ESPN is alluding to. Although both would also fall in that overpaid past-his-prime category.

I would say there is a less then 1% chance that Sosa ever plays for the cubs again. I am not sure who would want him as he is terrible outfielder whos bat is slowing down and he gets paid a ton. Come to think of it he sounds just like most of the yankee recent signings.
