Jeter, Williams, Pettite most notable. And other guys on the team werent big name stars, Tino, Paul O'neil, and Scott Broscious. It was mostly the chemistry between those guys that made it a great team. And I think the Yanks need to get back to this way of building a team. You have Jeter, Arod, Matsui, and most likely Beltran by next season, start building up your farm system and build a team around those guys with young talent. After 4 straight non world series winners and Boston embarresing them and then winning the series, there is no way in hell George is going to be patient. The checkbook will be open.
