in same order since 98

that is consistency

but it also shows you sometime things never change

Until this year... the yanks are in trouble, but the more you guys doubt it, the more you'll be stunned when it happens.

i would be shocked if bosox win world series

i don't think they have the pitching

i think both martinez and shilling are through(yes i could be wrong)

but 3, 4 and 5 pitchers are weak

yankees can certainly have a off year and bosox can sneak in

baseball is so much chemistry and nomar was well liked by teammates and perception is that he got screwed by management(he should have accepted 60mi offer in summer}

boston can fall on their face also

but as they say, that is why they play the game

it will be fun too watch

fortunately for both yanks and r.sox, there is no thread from any other team in division

Did you see the Kevin Millar interview... he was desperate to get rid of manny, even at the expense of Nomar.  The players want ARod...and he wants to be there.  There will be chemistry, much more than the Yankees with Sheffield/Brown

    "There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22

    "For me, I never considered it that way (as a stepping stone), honestly. When I was offered the head job at South Florida, and I'm sincere about this, I never thought I would ever go anywhere."

    Jim Leavitt
