I for one hope the sox get Arod for Manny and cash considerations, then KEEP nomar and let Arod play 3rd base.  Then get a closer.

I'm sure the yanks had some moderate interest in him, but they probably don't need him, they'll have a solid starting lineup.

the deal that has been circulating is arod for manny and then shipping Nomar somewhere like Anaheim but that might not hold with the Angels signing colon

It still may hold... as if Anaheim gets Colon, they could trade away Washburn to the Sox for Nomar.
