What a bunch of bullhooey.  The good thing is Vasquez has never pitched on a big stage and hopefully will meltdown in that environment. I think he has a great arm and could be a 20 game winner every year but who knows if he has the makeup to pitch there.  This team booed Jason Giambi his 1st month with the team a couple seasons ago when he got off to a rough start. I am not sure Vasquez could overcome that if he struggles early. He has no playoff experience either. His overall numbers in 6 full seasons is 64-68 with a 4.16 era. The last two years he has been 23-25.

are you nuts? They will win 100 games.  They are not done.  They will re-sign Petitte.  They have a chance to get K. Brown who came back very strong last year.  They just signed Gordon.  They are close to signing Sheffield.  Forgot gelling, they have enough firepower to overcome teams in the early part of the season while the gel.  *disclaimer:I HATE THE YANKEES and I still am positive they will dominate next year*

I hope the yanks sign Kevin Brown as he has a tendancy to stay real healthy and he is only making a godzillion dollars.  I love when George runs the team as he trades away all his young talent for a bunch of overpaid past their prime old men.  Bartolo Colon will not become a Yankee. He does not want the pressure of pitching in that city.
