Yeah, I had heard this as a rumor before it actually became official, and it made as much sense then to me as it does now.

He's never held a HC position.

Ridiculous hire.

Best of luck to him.  You've gotta start somewhere, and apparently Radford is willing to take the risk.  Its not like he is getting the head coaching job at Kentucky.  Its radford.  If he does bad, no one will notice... if he does well, well, no one will notice either.  ;D

Yeah, you have to start somewhere, but the question is, why start when you're 55 years old? (or whatever he is).
