you dont think?  Kidd and Odom are triple double guys and Kobe is the best single talent in the nba.

Plus Jason Kidd is the kind of player that makes everyone around him play better, cant imagine kobe getting any better.  

I dont think they would be better than the suns or mavs but instantly become a force.

instead lakers will have another year of non contending

but they have bynum that may be a good player in 3 years when kobe is on downside of his career

bull

lakers are expected to win in LA and people are now paying for a winner

you dont rebuild in LA
