playing ECU at 1:30 in first round of CUSA Tourney...

Groves leads the nation in RBI's with 80 (a USF single season record by a long shot).

I find it interesting that USF has more wins than the other CUSA teams have games played.

Example:  

          USM is 32 and 22 (#1 seed)  (54 games played)

          UL is   40 and 15 (#2 seed) (55 games played)

           USF is 55 and 10 (65 games played)

I think we advanced in more tournaments, and that's why we have more games and wins.  If you look at our schedule, we spent about 7 weeks playing in tourneys, all of February and half of March.

I think that is part of it, but this is a regular occurance for us... same thing happened last year as well... we had 59 wins and most of the conference played in the mid 50's in games.  I guess we like tournaments ;D

If we beat ECU today, we play the Host Louisville in the 2nd round... tough draw, but i think we are up to the challege.
