I don't know the answer to the juice question, but he is the most prolific ever after the first 2 years of a career.

If he is juicing, it isn't quite as obvious as it is with Bonds.  Bonds is a walking piece of evidence.  Howard is kinda pudgy and wasn't a stick coming into the league and then all of a sudden morphed into superman.

He doesnt have the juicing body type, he looks like hes got some meat on him not all muscle. That being said he could probably hit righty and still knock 50 homers in that park.

Thats true, that ball park is a ground ball pitcher park and Howard either strikes out or hits it hard and in the air.  

Might be the first to beat Maris' 61 with no speculation of steroids.  If not this year he will do it eventually...could be a great one.

Yep...so is McGuire, Sosa and about 50 other players in that era.  Bonds was just the best so everyone is all over him.

There are more reasons for people being "all over him" than just being "the best".  How about that he is a d***?  Think that burning all those bridges over the years gets the press on your ass?  

There is no doubting his talent, but he brought EVERYTHING that is coming at him, on to himself, and he deserves every bit of it.  The glory, and the infamy and the mega-sized asterisk that will accompany him for the rest of eternity.
