Dizzy and Daffy Dean:

Jay Hanna "Dizzy" Dean (January 16, 1910-July 17, 1974), American professional baseball pitcher and member of the Baseball Hall of Fame, was born in Lucas, Arkansas. He was a pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1930 to 1937, the Chicago Cubs from 1938 to 1941, and the St. Louis Browns in 1947.

The 1947 appearence came on the last day of the season. The long-since retired Dean was the broadcaster for the St. Louis Browns games at the time. He boasted on air that he could perform better than the perenially-bad Browns. Managment took him up on his offer and had him pitch the last game of the year. Dean pitched four innings, didn't give up any runs and rapped a double in his only at-bat.

Accomplishments:

Four consecutive strikeout titles

Led National League in complete games for four consecutive years

Won two games in the 1934 World Series

Three time 20-game winner; won 30 games in 1934

Elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1953

MVP in 1934

When Paul joined his famous brother Dizzy on the Cardinals' pitching staff, Dizzy predicted, "Me 'n Paul will win 45 games." They won 49, 19 by Paul, and put the Cards in the World Series, where they each won 2 more. During the September pennant drive, Dizzy shut out the Dodgers on three hits in the first game of a double-header; Paul pitched a no-hitter in the nightcap. "I wished I'da known Paul was goin' to pitch a no-hitter," Dizzy said. "I'da pitched one, too." Paul was dubbed "Daffy" by sportswriters but he was actually shy and rather serious. In 1935, he again won 19 for the Cardinals. The next year, he held out for more money. After signing, he tried to pitch too soon, hurt his arm, and never regained his form.

The Sutter brothers in hockey. I think there were 6 or 7 brothers all in NHL at the same time.  many have gone on to be **** good coaches.  The brothers were all known for their hard work on ice and toughness. I believe there was only one son in the family that did not play in NHL and I believe all the brothers played very long careers all probably 10 plus years.

Other bros,  Allen's, Howe's, Doyle's, Brett's, Young's, Kirby's, Gwynn's, DiMaggio's, Gretzky's, Lindross's, Jone's, Boone's.  tons of bros

Bro/sis  Miler's

Best siblings in tennis maybe but far from best sibling of all-time in all sports.  I would rank the dimaggio's number one of all time.

kr- you are again in the minority by far. your italian hertitage makes you too biased to  argue credibly.

I got ranking from ESPN that did a survey.

williams sisters are two best players in womans tennis ever

dimaggio bros aren't even close to being best two in their profession

stick too business
