Unfortunately - yes. Only way he doesn't is if teams stop pitching to him.

As long as he's got hitters around him in the batting order, he's golden.

People are saying he's getting old - which is technically true, but look at his (steroid enhanced) body - much different from other prolific 40 year-olds in history (I wonder why.)

I dont think he will break Aaron's HR record but may pass babe ruth for second. I think without the juice he will be back to a 30-35 hr guy and will go down over next couple years.

I dont think he breaks Aarons record but will catch the Babe.  Karl Malone missed how many games due to injury? Bonds will breakdown and when he does he will go quick. I dont think he would hang on like rickey henderson just to break the record as he seems like a guy that if he is not playing well he would call it a career.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
