Maybe I'm missing the point but why is the stadium patdown any different than one they may give you at the airport? Personally, I think having to take off my shoes to go through airport security is an invasion of my privacy.

Apparently, Mr Johnston didn't get that fired up until he saw that tax dollars were being used. I do think the NFL should be the one paying for it since it is their mandate but that's not what this kook is after ....

The pat down is just not that big of a deal ....

If it's an NFL policy, then the NFL should be paying for it in every stadium where they deem it necessary. If tax dollars are being used then there is an argument that other stadium events (USF games, monster truck pulls or whatever else) should have equal protection. The taxpayers should decide that issue for themselves and not leave it up to the Sports Authority.
