That's actually okay. This season has been a pleasant surprise we didn't think we would be undefeated at this point. We didn't know what we had at QB and we knew we had weaknesses. BB turned out to be the real deal and we need to build around him, next year is going to be yet another chance if this one doesn't pan out. But if somehow it happens this year I will be thrilled beyond all belief. I just don't know if our line is big enough and up for the task all season.

It's not C that worries me, it is Houston, We have to get through that first.

Perhaps Y'all with health issues should take out a life insurance policy with the IPF as the beneficiary

Unusually Strong Finishes

Tough to say, expected a lot more points. But our defense was also playing well when it counted. I think this is what we are going to have to expect when we are not playing another shootout type team. I think Houston and C will have high scores but so will we. We are really going to have to stay healthy.

It wasn't a pretty of a W as we were hoping/expecting but it was a W, and that sure is prettier than a lot of the top25 losses this week. Think it was enough to get on the list? I am thinking we get 24/25 come Monday.

I have to say this is very well done, I think better than we have done with our shows in the past. This week's episode with Mitchell Wilcox was cool. Great to see his family have been long time USF fans. Who is responsible for this production?

This is the one I check out first https://www.thedailystampede.com , and their podcast is entertaining even when it is going off the rails, but I am sure most of the board knows that, then I take a gander to see if 247 has anything posted. I will still read JK's articles but I definitely can't get the paper even if I wanted to get ink on my fingers like a barbarian, and I don't really put much effort into to seeking them out online anymore.

Regardless as to if we would make it in or not, I would still like to always play as strong a competition as possible. Going 13-0 against average competition while nice, isn't really a victory unless you are willing to challenge yourself. This is an opportunity to challenge ourselves and prove yet again that we are a worthy team. If that ALSO happens to improve our stock in a playoff discussion or re alignment discussion great. I just want to get back to the days when we would take on anyone and not look back. Even if it was too much to chew at the time.

You are both missing my point. Not that playing and getting our first conference championship wouldn't be great, I'm just saying that shouldn't be the **** ceiling. If it is, then I should quit being a fan. I have always since coming to this university and becoming a fan of football thought we would be able to go head to head with anybody, that's how I competed in my sport put 5 guys at the other end of the field, the best you can find. If I am worthy then I am, if not I can improve, but scheduling and playing down is no way to move a program forward. What on earth good will scheduling an FCS school do us? If that is all that is available fine I'll live with it, but if we have the opportunity to play a Miami, or an FSU, or a UF why the hell not? It is out of conference, what is there to lose? unless going back to my original point you don't think we will be able to get 6 wins in conference next year, let alone win any of the 3 already scheduled OOC games.
