  1. We'll be there as well. But L'ville is in Bourbon country. We'll make the best of things. Cool, what section are your seats? I'm in 201. Sect 102, Row B. About the same as 2 years ago if I remember. We had to move up a few rows to get a decent view. I know Athletics think they are doing you a favor by putting you close to the field. Had a conversation with someone there a couple of years ago. "Good" seats are subjective and they do what they think is best. Cool, you'll be just below me and to the left a bit, facing the field. Looking forward to the drive through Nashville and up through bourbon country, like you said. Are you going to overnight in Nashville? I was the Beverage/Night Manager at the Wildhorse Saloon in 2001. Trying to keep track of a dozen bartenders, a couple of bar backs and a whole bunch of servers in an 80,000 square foot club was like herding cats.
  2. You did that a couple of years ago and look where it got you.
  3. ^^^ No Longer Bullieves ^^^ Does that make him "UNBullievable" ? Meh...He should change his handle to Unbulliever or Nonbulliever.
  4. I can see the war party fires burning in Tampa all the way down here in Plantation. If the Bulls lose to Temple they will grow to massive bonfires and light up the northern sky.
  5. The irony is, the entire USF Football program is a moral victory. A program that almost was... Against the advice of the likes of Bob Stoops and Bill Snyder, Leavitt left Manhattan, KS to come home to Tampa/St Pete for a truck driver's salary. He almost won. He almost had the team "there" until Doug Woolard pulled the rug out from under him to fix something that wasn't broken. Leavitt loses and the Bulls begin a death spiral. CJL did it to himself. Not ADDW. That is incorrect. You don't conduct a witchhunt and frame job against yourself. Pete JL was fired for the cover up not the crime. The administration asked him not to discuss it or have contact with Miller. What did he do? Had contact and a clandestine meeting with Miller. If he would have taken responsibility from day one he would still be at USF. Get over it. There was no cover up. Miller recanted the story about the clandestine meeting that never happened. What was he supposed to take responsibility for?
  6. Neither do I, but I'm going with it to irritate Mikey.
  7. The good men are trying .... but you're still here. "Kill the messenger!"
  8. Here we go...Time to bring back the Leavitt board! Let's do that, and restrict Mizzou/Plantation Pete to posting there. It's pretty much his sole purpose of being on this board. It's a simple question. Why do you refuse to answer it? Because as it happened almost three years ago, I've put it in the past, and to be honest, I don't remember all the details. Plus, I don't think you, and an in-depth discussion, are worth much of my valuable time to discuss further. "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."...Edmund Burke

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT SHOULD BE DONE only other option is just banning this clown for life Mike... You're so angry and bitter. Have you considered therapy?

Not ADDW. That is incorrect. You don't conduct a witchhunt and frame job against yourself. Your opinion, as much as you'd like to portray it as fact, is still your opinion, and nothing else. As always when stories are so far apart, the truth is often somewhere in the middle. Unless you were in that locker room that day, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. So tell me...Who do you think is more credible, a sworn deposition from a current FBI Agent that was present or Joel Miller who changed his story several times? Which is more credible and who should you believe?

  13. Do I really have to go over the whole double negative thing again ....? And honestly, you have to admit, with all the ******** flying around in here, I've been pretty restrained .... Double negative? I agree with you about his whining. His estrogen level must be elevated...again.
  14. The irony is, the entire USF Football program is a moral victory. A program that almost was... He almost had the team "there" until Doug Woolard pulled the rug out from under him to fix something that wasn't broken. Leavitt loses and the Bulls begin a death spiral. The program is, not was. We haven't disbanded yet. Some of us will always appreciate leavitt's efforts for the program. However, the program he lay the groundwork for is bigger than any one person. That's a credit to Jim leavitt. The program is...what? Leavitt gave folks just a taste, but it was enough to simply drive many mad and have delusions of grandeur. USF is now destined to be the perrenial doormat of the weakened Big East. Actually, USF may have already acheived door mat status. Be sure and wipe your feet.

  16. UCF has more students plus faculty and staff and they can't fill a 45K seat stadium for a national TV game against a traditional power. In their defense... and I can't believe that I am.... It was 100 degrees at noon that day. I love USF football but you would have found it very hard for me to watch a game in those conditions. Especially if your stadium is an aluminum frying pan. The funny part is that Mizzou complained like crazy about UCF's stadium, and here he is arguing for a similar piece of crap to be built for USF. I did? Where?
  17. You need to stop...Using logic, common sense and reality simply will not be tolerated by many on this board.
  18. The Yankees have 81 or more dates from their baseball team alone. The Cowboys have all sorts of major events in their stadium. You won't get a fraction of those dollars at an OCS. Plus, the Yankees and Cowboys are in a far better position to take the risk. You are comparing apples to watermelons. Sigh, why do I bother? You remind me of Roseanne Rosannadanna on one of her clueless rants. Read through the thread and pay attention.
  19. Your numbers simply don't add up... If you sold an average of 35,000 tickets at $40 each would equal $1.4 million per game X 7 home games = $9.8 million per year in ticket revenue alone. If USF schedules a team that will sell tickets for USF it could be held in RayJay (See Florida Gators vs Georgia Bulldogs for reference). USF right now could not sell 35,000 tickets at $40 each. Most tickets will be in a range from $5 - $25. And you obviously do not realize that 12,500 seats are student section. Students pay an athletic fee that doesn't come near $40 per football game. Well...UCF gets that much or more so I guess they have better fans, right? How much did Florida State fans pay for their tickets? $40 is just the average ticket price. People sitting between the 20 yard lines should pay more. People in the sky boxes should pay even more than that. How much does UCF get? Please show me the numbers. They can't even get 45,000 for Missouri coming in to town, and trust me they aren't charging anywhere near $40 per ticket. $25-$75 for single game tickets... http://www.ucfathletics.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/ucf-12-m-footbl-tickets.html
  20. Jerry Jones and the Steinbrenner Family must be imbeciles... http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/21/sports/baseball/21yankeescnd.html?em&_r=0
