  1. This would definitely not have happened if the right team was playing on Saturday. Brett McMurphy ‏@McMurphyESPN 15h15 hours agoTemple returned 2,950 of its 3,000 ticket allotment for American title game says @D_D_Bass
  2. Most likely this is impossible, but is there any chance that this 2:30 time gets changed to a later time slot?
  3. What about Tulsa getting the Birmingham Bowl against the SEC haha
  4. Likewise. No disrespect to WKU, but a P5 opponent would make the Monday @ 2:30 time slot hurt a little less.
  5. How much different is it than having the Tampa Bay Rays playing in St. Pete, same logic as having the bowl in Tampa with the St. Pete name.
  6. Nebraska v Oklahoma Nebraska v Mizzou Texas v Texas A&M Penn State v Pitt Are a few other big ones that were lost.
  7. Couldn't agree more, but scheduling teams like Towson, Stony Brook, UMass, and Elon are certainly not going to help our case IMO.
  8. Just saw that Egbunu had another double double last night. I knew he was going to be a huge void when he left, dang I didn't think that things would be this bad nor the rest of these guys playing so well.
  9. It may not sell out but Syracuse always brings a good crowd, even though its not basketball. Navy should be a good crowd as well.
  10. One of the best turnarounds in NCAA history! Can't wait to see what this team does the next few years. Definitely going to be a force to be reckoned with. Go Bulls!!
  11. Game attendance shouldn't ride or die by the students. As a recent grad who went to every home game, it's extremely annoying to constantly hear the students being blamed for the lack of crowd when it's not just the students who show up to games. The athletics department has done wonders in getting the students who do go to the games to go out and support a team that quite frankly has been atrocious at home up until this year. A perfect example of this are both the Temple and the Cinci games. For both games the student section was about 90% full, whereas the rest of the stadium was no where near that full. So rather than constantly blame the students, blame those who are not students and choose not to go.
  12. This year or next? If they beat Temple then yes they should be going to a NY6 bowl this year.
  13. Agree 100%, the AAC will get a huge boost from the start if Houston could beat a possible defending National Champ in Oklahoma. That would make the CCG even more important if it came down to 2 undefeated ranked AAC teams.
  14. I'm not counting them out by any means, I was just stating that our OOC schedule for the next 2 years is relatively soft in comparison to other AAC teams.
  15. As much as any Bulls fan would want that to happen, the likelihood is not high. A NY6 bowl yes but not the CFP or Champhionship game, especially since our only decent OOC game next year is against FSU.
