  1. 24/7 says that we offered him on Dec. 7th, so I would say that we haven't overlooked him. But we have plenty of time to work with him, since he's class of 17
  2. If the AAC were to eventually become a P6 conference, I would rather stay in the AAC. It really all depends on how and when the Big XII's expansion goes though, if they expand prior to the AAC being P6 then I would say Big XII.
  3. Was born into an all UF family, first to not go there, but ever since I decided to go to USF over UF I bleed green and gold.
  4. Meant to post this in the prospects thread, can someone please move it?
  5. Just saw that he also decommitted from Tennessee. Kid is an absolute giant at 6-7, not the fastest 40 but looks explosive of the line. Also has a 4.0 GPA listed on his hudl highlights, which is definitely a plus. http://247sports.com/Player/Chidi-Okonya-38807
  6. USF is officially in his final 4 schools. http://collegespun.com/acc/florida-state/2016-star-defensive-lineman-shavar-manuel-reveals-top-4-schools
  7. This would be a huge pick up for us, especially with some of the talent that we're losing on the D-line.
  8. For those that might not check the Alumni thread: USF Muma College of Business Doctorate Programs ranks #1 in US http://www.usfalumni.org/s/861/social.aspx?sid=861&gid=1&pgid=252&cid=11183&ecid=11183&crid=0&calpgid=61&calcid=10731

  10. Per ESPN, WKU is -3 http://espn.go.com/chalk/story/_/id/14315226/college-football-complete-list-point-spreads-bowl-games
  11. Miami's board seemed to like him http://miami.247sports.com/Board/92/Contents/Latrell-Williams-Columbia-high-lake-city-florida-40864450
  12. Found the same thing. Not too impressed honestly, hopefully he's a diamond in the rough deal.
  13. Corey Bender ‏@Corey_Bender 12m12 minutes agoLake City (Fla.) Columbia WR Latrell Williams commits to #USF. Had over a handful of other offers, including Indiana .scout.com/player/203408-latrell-williams?year=2015&s=143 …
  14. I wasn't trying to dis the idea, I would love to see something like that happen. It would create a lot of additional competition especially for teams that are fed with a silver spoon in the P5 that never produce. It's a great idea for football, but for other sports is where it would cause a conflict. Again, wasn't trying to be rude.
  15. As much as I love this idea, realistically that just doesn't seem logical in so many areas.
  16. I agree, only game I am iffy on conference wise is do we want Houston to beat FSU? Of course that would be huge for our conference but if FSU wins then they should be a top 10, maybe even top 5 going into next season. Which would make our game against them at home next year that much bigger. Playoff wise, I think the conference should be pulling for OU since they start the season off next year against Houston.
  17. Winning the bowl game in dominating fashion, and how we perform next season is going to be big in the eyes of expansion. If we keep winning games it will put butts in the seats, both of which are vital to getting a P5 call.
  18. Winning football games is on him, which is a major factor in getting a P5 call.
  19. What I love most about this extension is that it should almost guarantee an increase in the assistant salary pool, which means we'll be able to hang on to your coaching staff for a little bit longer.
  20. I am planning on taking the pledge to purchase season tickets for the first time. Definitely a different feeling than getting those free tickets as a student.
  21. Temple fans are blaming it on it being finals week and a 2,000 mile travel for no students purchasing tickets for the game.
