Could not agree more..... Also in my estimate hoovering around the high forties is nothing to write home about. No one is not saying that CWT and his staff has not done a adequate job of adding quote un quote talent to this recruiting class but if you praise mediocrity then you will always fall short of the true goal. Unless you demand rationally lofty goals from this staff then we shall never be that which we strive to obtain. The same should be demanded of the on and off the field performance of the athletes. Our goal is nothing more the championship and to do that we must start to demand more as a fan base in production on and off the field from all aspects of this organization.

In summary We suck and Jimbo is going to win a SB.... **** Those are the marquee wins. Also beat Rutgers and Louisville away, something Jimbo couldn't do with his team. Oh and Miami. I agree with you.... seen the guy clinic before did not really go over anything that really blew me away like Earl Lane, Odell Haggins, Chris Rumph and Brain Young. Those dudes know their stuff about the nuances of the game.

If that is the case when did he become an expect on college coaching? According to this bird McGillis is making a lot the calls of who CWT can interview and who he can hire. This thing is just a cluster you know what. Is there any factual information about what happened? All I have heard from area coaches is that the kid was called and told to look at other schools and Coach Depue was pissed at CWT for not honoring his scholarship.

My coach is Jimbo and will be Jimbo until these dumb ass admins at USF hire back people like Dan OMAC , Calvin McGee ( WHich his Resume pooped on Willie T but No Admin wanted anything to do with him because his a "Jim Guy" BS Better Coach then Willie and Recruiter) Rick Kravitz, or Wally B. We are not going to beat out UF for most kids we go after... Willie M please beat USF like a drum in recruiting so we can get a better coach in here in 2 to 3 years or maybe we are going to suck so bad next year that the admins will pull a Southern Miss and god willing they will. Willie T has not really shown me a splash in recruiting aside from him burning local bridges with high school coaches.

I know Coach DePue and he does not lie and if he is pissed heads will roll in the local recruiting... In my opinion this shows me two things 1. The handling of this situation was not in a classy and professional manner. 2) That Coach T wants his guys but at what cost? Do you burn bridges this late in the recruiting process? As an alumni and a donor I am not happy about how this situation will effect local recruiting and how our program is being represented.

What does a past coaching record have to do with USF? Are you serious? And NFL coaches develop players right out of the draft, so I am sure he can relate to young players. Ok so no one still has answered one of my question or even has a relevant response.... You think NFL record means anything? Old Chuck who is up at Kansas had a great a record in the NFL and Flopped. Pete Carroll had mediocre success in New England before he went to USC and was a one of winningest coaches in the past decade. My point being in college it is the jimmy's and the joe's and if this guy has not recruited since Bush 1 was in office I am concerned.

My question with new hire is about how is he going to be able to relate to young kids in recruiting, the last time he was recruiting Skid Row and Vanilla Ice were in fashion. I know it is strange question to most of you on this board but what makes him a qualified recruiter?Also when was the last time he defended the zone read or any other schemes which are found in college but not found in the NFL? Also if Willie T has in his mind to bring in NFL guys what connection does this guy have to FL and this area? As a defensive coordinator how does his scheme fit our players which we have on our team now? This are questions that should be asked not have the BS on this board about his past record in the NFL what does that have to do with USF?

My question is why not Calvin McGee..... We got a coach that was not a USF guy and he ruined our program. McGee was Buc and He also helped build the program for the beginning. Great Florida recruiter and even coached at local high schools. Much better fit the Willie T and has proven winner in WVU, PITT, and UA (Michigan also…. his offense did not loses them games it was Greg Robinsons defense). Also he was endorsed by Leroy Selmon god rest his soul, last time we tried to this and he was better AD then Dougie Fresh any day of the week so he gets my vote. Also If Willie T isa great FL recruit name five big time kids he covienced to go WK? Calvin McGee: Sanders, Pat White (AL) , Noel, oooo Denard ROBINSON, Odems, the list goes on and on he would have looked really good in Green and Gold. Plus with McGee you would get a lot great coaches back with alot better resumes the WKU.
