  1. An indicator? Sure. One of several indicators at any given moment. Context matters though. We’ve seen it with Skip, who couldn’t recruit and maximize Florida talent, despite his success before and after USF.
  2. Sir, kindly remove your defeatist attitude from this program
  3. Can someone tell me a single thing KB accomplished this season that makes him worth keeping in any capacity?
  4. We don’t need a search committee. Kelly has a great football executive pedigree. I trusted he would make the right move in scrubbing Charlie, and he did. I trust him with leading this search himself.
  5. While I’m a fan of both from their Dolphins tenures.... No. And Lane is incredibly wishful thinking. Not gonna happen.
  6. What is Kiffin’s current high risk? All that matters is winning championships, and Lane is about to go 2 for 3 in that regard. Career rehabilitated.
  7. You don’t think Lane will get P5 offers? I hear he’s a top candidate for Arkansas
  8. I think I’m also more disappointed with Holtz than Charlie. The only thing Skip has over Charlie is victories over big name programs. Especially that Notre Game victory, as fluky as that was. Skip sunk us at the worst moment for realignment. That said, Charlie stings more given he followed up arguably our finest season as a program and dismantled everything.
  9. I’ll say this, Charlie is leaving us with more talent than Skip did
  10. Even still, there was no better opportunity than freaking UConn? Just doesn’t add up to me.
  11. Rhett Lashlee, who was an Auburn OC under Gus for I think four years. Not sure why, but he left Auburn to OC at UConn, a hell of a downgrade. Was he force out of Auburn? After one year of UConn, he jumped to SMU
  12. Taggart indeed was responsible for hiring the horrible Chuck Bresenahan. Then he got us Tom Allen for a year, who produced an incredible defense. Allen leaves for Indiana (and they had a relatively great 2019) and Willie chose Raymond freaking Woodie as the replacement. If we could have paired the Allen’s defense with Willie’s final year offense, we would have been unstoppable. If Willie does return, we need to make DC our top staffing priority. EDIT: I still don’t want Willie back, but if we do go that route, we need contractual guarantees that he sticks around for 5+ years this time, lest he pay us a sizeable buy out.
  13. You think that players considered caliber for a P5 team that won a national championship in the last decade would follow Willie to the G5? Its not like when Willie took a couple recruits to Oregon...
  14. Like when he went 4-2 at Miami? Or does interim for half a season not count?
  15. For the sake of the program, we very clearly couldn’t afford NOT to fire him. And clearly, MK felt the same.
  16. Because they know short term pain is worth long term gain.
  17. Not because they were wrong, but because they married themselves to a ridiculous stance that would continue to degrade this program.
  18. “Don’t fire Strong because we can’t afford it” is not only an ‘opinion’ I didn’t recognize, it’s now been proven incorrect.
  19. HE GONE Everyone who said this was not possible, much less on a ‘church day’, can officially screw off, now and forever. Especially Corey/G5Bullcrapper
