  1. Marvin was a preferred walk on from Barron Collier/ Naples. I saw every one of his HS games, he is a real talent. I don't think he even kicked a football until he was Junior....as I recall. Might be wrong. His father was a pro soccer player in Germany.
  2. Is this even expected to be a game? I just think RU will get crushed by at least 3 TD's.
  3. Garage door design, top 20 program. http://www.ncaa.com/...ngs/golf-men/d1 And funny how the back side of the building is always pictured..... as for the facility, it is not exactly second rate. The 2,880-square foot teaching building features hitting bays and a state-of-the-art video system to analyze each player's swing. Also, the structure includes a player's lounge, locker rooms and offices for the entire UCF coaching staff. In addition to the building, the practice facility boasts a six-acre short-game area, plus a driving range. The short-game area has a pair of putting greens and target greens and opened in 2007. The putting greens each have a different type of grass to prepare the Knights for events. The course area was designed and constructed by McCumber Golf, which is run by former PGA TOUR player Mark McCumber. Twin Rivers is managed by the Golf Group, an Orlando-based company that operates six courses in the area. http://www.ucfathlet...ew.gal?id=93042 Buildings mean nothing, results do. Even my alma mater little St Marys of California got first place votes, and they have got nothing! They have dorms....and a basketball facility...and that is about it! Nice new building though..... aww-- I think I hurt his feelings NO, no hurt feelings. The Bulls with the new building are not ranked....St Marys has 1500 students. 1500!

  5. Sorry on my 2 INT's. Next week will be a better test for the whole team. Good luck.
  6. BJ at #14 sounds a lot better than he was given credit for here last night. Just my opinion......the 2 INT's were bad but overall, I think he did well...when you look at all the numbers. http://espn.go.com/college-football/statistics/player/_/stat/passing/sort/collegeQuarterbackRating/year/2012/group/80

I hope everyone in and around Tampa fares well. Prepare and be glad that it was not needed.
  8. I will cheer for Keith wherever he plays. I have met him several times. A very nice young man....a class act. There is no way you can root against him. No way possible. If he were to go to USF, he would be the gift of a career for the coaches and fans.
  9. I know, not sure that the appeal is the right thing to do. Terrible bowl choices as CUSA member....just terrible. I would just play hard and move on.
  10. Bowl bans are tied to a calendar, not your ability to be bowl eligible.
  11. Likely not to suck...but we will see in game number one.
  12. B Ball hurts, no F ball post season is really no big deal. Missing a Liberty Bowl ( which C-USA can be locked out of anyway if the SEC chooses) or another St Pete Bowl is no big deal
  13. Well, if you follow the players that are eligible this year ( transfers) they are likely to be better, not worse than last year. if seniors can transfer with no wait, that might be devastating if someone like Clanton leaves.
  14. If true, an an endorsement of the self imposed sanctions IMO.
  15. CBS reports one year Bowl Ban in Football and B Ball. "Sources" I hate that title....it has ruined journalism.
  16. Trip, Ok. But I have to wonder ( again here) why in the piece he covered recruiting of the MAC conference, but no mention of recruiting in the Tampa area by C-USA. An oversight?
  17. This is my count.....I could be wrong. USF Tampa Area Offers: 32 Tampa Area Commits: 4 UCF Tampa Area Offers: 18 Tampa Area Commits: 6 I noted that there was no mention of C-USA in the piece. Interesting. Both schools should do well in all of the Tampa/Orlando corridor. More places to keep local athletes "home". I am all for it.
  18. And the UF version. This guy is really clever.
  19. http://www.tampabay.com/hometeam/blog/alvin-bailey-announces-his-top-8/14234/ Sounds like his choices are very fluid...and that he will not decide very soon.
