    Lets have some fun with this. If we were to get a bid into the ACC, on average, where would we fall within the ACC (end of year ranking within the ACC), as it stands?

    I do not get some people. I do not like UCF's football program for various reasons, but would never denigrate someone because they went to UCF. My neighbor is a big UCF fan, his kids go there, and we have very cordial discussions during the football season (which should only get more interesting now that they will soon join the same conference).

    Or he could be saying it doesn't really matter what my dad says. I hope he isn't wearing USF gear to support his dad knowing that he is not coming to USF at the end of the day....conspiracy theorist angle.

    I think he makes a good point should USF or even UCF get the bid, both schools would fill seats based on local fan base and proximity of the Orange Bowl. Appreciate the emails.

    I like Gruden, but if he came here it would most likely be the result of the down fall of USF football. On the flip side I suppose he could also come from Holtz winning the BE and winning a BCS Bowl game and being picked off from a bigger program.

    I am all about incentive based pay. You want a big pay check, then earn it through results.

    Recruiting...this is why beating "them" is so important. Despite the fact that most of us dislike (I am being kind) UCF, they recruit and seek out the same talent that we do (sometimes they win out on a recruit, and more often than not we win out on a recruit). Therefore, continuing to maintain our undefeated status against UCF is very important for recruiting.

I didn't check the recruiting board for any posts on this, since I thought transfers could be posted on the main board; am I wrong on this? You are correct. Just thought you might want to read that thread. When I started it, Greg had not yet reported his commitment. Definitely will....thanks. I think I speak for most of us on here when I say your commitment to this board is much appreciated.

    I think we have Ciabatti and Chris Veron as punters. We will need him to fill Bonani's shoes. I think it will be b/w Hill & Kloss.

    Especially when he had offers from some other major programs. He is a smart kid. I hope all of the born and raised Florida talent analyze the effects of playing in cold weather like Ruff.

    If we can win the BE this year, then it wouldn't seem so far fetched to make the Orange Bowl. Plus FSU is suppose to have a great team this year. If FSU can make it past USF in Tampa this year, then I can see them playing for the BCS Championship (sarcasm intended).

    Well, USF was HONEST with him, unlike MANY other schools. We also could have LIED to him. But, I do agree that landing him, in particular, could have swayed other players to USF. I think we are starting to see Coach Holtz and Co.'s efforts pay dividends. In the long run his style of honesty and integrity will pay off for USF. Reputations are developed very quickly and if you promise the world to everyone, it will come back to bite you in the end. I personally feel like Coach Holtz and the other coaches and staff are doing a very good job at recruiting; especially factoring in the mess of a conference we are in, and coming off a terrible conference record.
