    I would have tried to get at least one more inning out of Jasiak. We are going to need to score more to win this one.

    The noon game in September is bad enough, but a 6pm Friday night game is just laughable and on senior night as well. They could play that game in Corbett and not fill it up.

    Gregory, Dixon and Wagers recruited basically a whole new team without Herrion so I don't really think it matters if he is let go or not. They can drag it out as long as they want.

    BG doesn't seem too concerned with recruiting kids from FL, let alone local kids. Only Moss and Smith are from FL and Smith is on his third school already.

    Yetna was 103 and Durr 118, out of 1500 or so.

    So that is Collins to Clemson, Yetna to Seton Hall, Durr to Va Tech and Brown to UAB...BG has to be thinking "How were we so bad?"

    We have signed a bunch of new players since, so I can't imagine that anything too earth shattering will come of it.

    If Cincy hired the right coach, they should be fine. WSU has always been a mid-major and without Greg Marshall it might be tough for them to get back to what they were doing before they came to the AAC. Three bids seems about right for the AAC most years.

    Yeah, give Houston and Memphis credit but they are the only two teams that bring in high major talent consistently at this point. Cincy and Wichita St. are question marks right now and fall into the high mid major category with everyone else in the conference.

    Assuming we are gonna add a few more guys, BG doesn't have to hit a home run on all of these guys. If one of them can turn out really good and two others be solid contributors then we can at least be decent in the AAC. The AAC is not a P6 conference and there are only a few schools that have P6 level talent. Gregory is gonna have to coach his a$$ off with all the new pieces though.

    Letting a road team that was below .500 last season dictate where your "home" games are is a pretty weak look.

    Are we playing the return game at wherever the AAC tourny is the following year? It is Auburn, not UF or Kentucky. Guess they just want to play in a quarter full arena instead of half full.

    I really like DC, but I have seen enough of him at USF to last a lifetime. We need something different.

    I think Yetna has a chance to do well going forward. He doesn't have to be the man at Seton Hall. Going from scoring option 1 or 2 at USF to being maybe 4 or 5 at SHU. Durr will probably be in the same situation. They had a lot of pressure to perform here, especially Yetna.

    We basically get to start over with guys that have been productive players elsewhere. The group we had did not play well together for the most part last year. This at least makes things more interesting going into next season.
