Has someone ever polled current\former players on their opinion of On Campus vs. Ray Jay?

We are behind on facilities, period. An IPF and a stadium are required for us to keep up with the rest of college football. Pitt - had a stadium for about 75 years. Miami - had the orange bowl(and historic players and coaches) Everyone else is small time.

And Ray Jay is brutal. Someone posted Baylor's stadium that has an overhang or something in the fashion of some soccer/dolphins stadium. Also, I believe FSU has done something similar in one of their end zones. I understand it's a mock up or whatever, but I would imagined with the cost of an over hang it would have been incorporated. In any case, I would be still be more than happy with $200 mil pad.

Unless we plan on playing night games 90% of the time, where is the shade?

Experienced team, experienced coach and Strong brought a bunch of his staff with him, so they know each other. Offense is not dramatically changing scheme. Defense seems to be staying close to the same scheme. The only part I would worry about is the team buying in to the coaches, but I don't feel like that is gonna be a problem.

Really hope they didn't edit any of his responses because he sounds like he has his head on straight. Hope he sticks around.

I don't want to poo poo all over the good recruiting vibes, but I was hoping to see a couple big time recruits with the amount that committed. And I get that stars don't mean everything, but a couple 4 stars would have been nice.

We are a top 25 team and they think it will be a 4 point game? This shouldn't be close...

I'd imagine the brighter green is easier to keep track of the kids in case one is wandering off. Also, I think kids might like the bright colors better?

Just about every team on our schedule is from 97-125... Shout out to Lovie and his 120th Big Ten Illini lol. I hope Strong doesn't hold back and we beat them by 50.

3. I've seen the articles on what ESPN did, but where would they put us? ACC and SEC will block USF\USF combo. We don't fit the BIG 10 although I could see them dipping into FL or TX at some point in the future. BIG 12 doesn't want us and who knows how long that will last. 4. I hope they can fill at least half QF shoes, but I don't have blind faith.

I don't think realignment will be a decade off. For us to get a chance at making a new conference we need to win consistently and I think the best way is with a coach that will stay. Strong will be either in Miami or UF. I have been looking at the rights deals and the streaming companies are not dumb. I don't see them giving us equal money as the BIG 12 when they know they can give us a few extra million and we would take it. Kean and O havent played a single game. Not sure how you can say that.

Phew, I think all of that is a stretch. We need about a decade or so worth of winning IMO. I know it's not a perfect comparison, but I like to think we are in similar situation as TCU was in the late 90's. Second tier school in a good football state who can get some athletes(minus the long history of TCU). We need to find our Gary Patterson and win for about a decade before we can sniff becoming a destination job. If we get triple the TV contract money in 2020 we sit around 10 million per school. That is close to half what the BIG 12 got for each school received last year and IIRC lower than our BIG EAST days. I'm not sure a huge raise would be enough to helps things. As for Strong, I think his most important job is finding a QB after Flowers. If he can't win after QF leaves he won't win many games and then he is gone. And if he gets fired from here he can join Skip in CUSA.

And this is where my thoughts were going to. Our stock is at its highest in years and if we are no able to start pulling in a couple 4 stars now, when will we? Maybe if we hit on another good QB to keep things rolling?
