OL and DL. these 2 positions are the biggest game changers in football
Can't upvote this enough.

OL, DL, WR, LB? Pretty sure ive heard recently all the RBs could come back.
My vote is DL. I feel like we can trip over ATH kids.

36 a game not counting Bama. 32 w/ Bama...
This defense is still awful....we're just playing crappier teams.
Still gonna need a full overhaul during the off-season to process out the rest of the junk.

that is all

D looks shockingly slow.

I can admit CJS' recruiting is better than his coaching.

I would say Notre Dame, Miami, Georgia Tech
ND isnt in the ACC....Miami hasnt won the ACC ever and GT just learned to pass the ball. What?

the acc will be fine. even if they lose their top 4 or so teams, they are still better than big 16.
not sure why people think they are some power conference that acc teams will fall all over themselves to join.
After FSU and Clemson is Ok State the top football school between ACC and Big12?

If not, then USF isn't even in the conversation, are they?
Well depending on what happens maybe(not likely). I do think if you make a massive run like UCF did in a football area then you have a chance. Boise being an example of a team that made a run in a non football area.
I def have a biased opinion, but I think there are a handful of G5 teams that are better options than a handful of the lower tier P5 teams in the long term.

If the ACC needs to bring in G5 teams in the next 2-5 years, name a program that will able to meet that criteria that you think will jump us?
You're assuming they would need to bring in G5 teams...

Stanford, Cal, and SMU haven’t had that. SMU has won more lately than the other 2.
Comparing USF to those schools isn't realistic.
Comparing USF to UCF is much more IMO.

Lots of you guys banking on a couple good seasons under Goach and a stadium is enough to do it. Pretty sure we'll need almost a decade of winning and conference championships. USF would be EXTREMELY lucky if that is all that it takes. Basically, the most success USF has ever had.
UCF went through three full coaching cycles, NYE bowls, stadium and multiple conference championships.

They beat an FCS team and a CUSA team. Bama game was impressive, but lets not go crazy.
I don't think they are good yet, but I think the coaching is now at an acceptable level.
Good win and I hope the past couple games are a confidence booster. If they can keep moving forward they will be a bowl team. I think a couple teams lost their QB, so Memphis could be the real test.

"We're now poised to get the rules stricken that prevent conferences and schools from making NIL payments," said Steve Berman, one of the lead attorneys for the plaintiffs. "That's going to be huge for these athletes."
NCAA, conferences could be forced into major NIL change as lawsuit granted class-action status
WWW.USATODAY.COM
A federal district judge granted class-action status to an anti-trust lawsuit against the NCAA and the nation’s top college conferences. There needs to be some kind of salary cap. It will get even more out of hand without restraints.

Ok I agree we need shade but ray jay really doesn’t and it works every weekend including for the Bucs. So yes it would be great but significant shade would cost significant money. I will be one of the few who won’t be crying if they don’t build it that way.
Ray jay absolutely needs it. It is a miserable experience unless you enjoy baking and sweating next 60k people.

If there isnt significant shade it will be a worse fumble than the Rays building a stadium in the exact same spot that has attendance issues.

It is honestly ridiculous USF doesn't have one at this point. Would be infinitely better than a stupid flamingo.
Its not suprising why they cant build a culture. No stadium, no mascot, no culture.

If you are considering football these schools are an anchor. They will be a mid-lower tier team.
Losing programs with 3 conference titles in ~60 years that had a glut of conference money.

Also, where can you get that hat that Joel Gordon is wearing?
-
Kevin Patrick needs to be kept here. Coach Todd seems to know what he is doing.
The fact I can't remember a single blatant missed tackle is a miracle. I know the D needs more work, but hack yeah this D is coming together. A few solid recruits and transfer then this thing will be near Leavitt era.

Man you guys cant enjoy a 2 TD loss to Bama. Goach had one offseason.
This team is improving. The defense seems like they've learned to tackle after years of being horrible.
If we had horn, weaver and battie this team might be in the running to win the conference.
