He’s not even playing all the snaps. It looks to me like they rotate their front four each series, so he’s only played half the defensive snaps in the first half. I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but it feels to me like we’ve got something cooking, huh?

Will be getting all he can handle here

He took us from a dumpster fire to a bowl in one year…I think a conference championship is not too far off…exceeding leavitt would be a big ask…his recruiting has been well above what anyone would have expected…I’d love to take revenge on FAU this year…we have got to compete with the top teams if we want to get called up to a p5…

ehh it is not from an average ranking. he just has a ton of guys this year.

From what I have read All the rbs on Georgia are eligible to come back next year if they chose to. Georgia has runs a rb timeshare under Kirby. From what I have read he was offered $700,000 and that is more then what he was getting in Gainesville behind Johnson. Also his brother's money is not his money.I am not saying his brother may not help him out, but he is responsible for his own future. I see him being a top 2/3 back on Georgia. The chance to play in a big bowl game of college football playoff game is much higher under Kirby then Napier. I can't blame the kid for getting paid and getting to play for a top 5 college football coach over Sunbelt Billy.

Well yeah I wouldn't go to Gainesville for all the jorts and white tennis shoes in the world.

Bowls games and being on top teams doesn't matter in the NFL. Sure, I guess if hes gonna be in a committee anyway then you might as well get paid. I would just chose to go to a place where I would be the feature back on a good-ish team.

It is all about the money. If he isn't good enough to be the every down back on Florida, there is no way he will be the every day back on a deeper and talented Georgia team.

Very shortsighted if it is about the money. His brother signed a $13 million contract. I just have to laugh when a millionaire family says it has to do whats best for the family.

He needs to be a featured back somewhere where he can get good film. Whats the point of making a few hundred grand being stuck behind people or in a committee.

  5. First off, I'm glad they are building it and would be okay with anything they put in.

Would be nice to get some clarity on what the "right" way is from their perspective.

Looking at the renderings again, it could be the home and away sides that are reinforced concrete and the end zones are steel supported bleachers which could then be removed and replaced when capacity is increased.

Yeah it looks like the home side is concrete. Wonder if that has something to do with being attached to the TGH building?

East-west orientation and location of the tower should build in a significant amount of shade for the home side, plus the design will allow for adding additional shade structures later. I'm satisfied the issue has been addressed and not simply ignored like it doesn't matter (you're right, it very much does).

I must be missing something here because this all seems backwards to me.

North south orientation would have been preferred for shade from boxes and cooking opponents during day games. East-west orientation gives a sliver of shade and even then they should have the scoreboard on the west side to block some of the afternoon sun.
