Lets not forget here that ESPN is taking over the SEC tv contract next season. Not hard to believe they pushed Texas and Bama into the playoff. What a story line that will be coming in to next season for them.

This is why every conference winner should make the playoff. You can do rankings for Independents and the remaining teams. This will help spread the talent pool and provide more parity.

Wonder If the Big 12 is waiting for WSU and OSU to offer them an SMU type deal to join? I doubt WSU\OSU have the money SMU does, but they have to be desperate to get relegated to the MWC.
