  1. Whose redshirts were blown this year so far and u think was a good idea. White - ? Threatt - good Godwin - good Robbins - bad learning new position could have used more time Senat - has he played ? Calloway - ? Ward - good Who else am I missing?
  2. If we could clone this guy. Man was a beast today. Props.
  3. Wow we missed big time on this guy.
  4. It was either this or go back to Floyd. Bench is not 100%. I know he threw an interception but there were also dropped passes.
  5. Well he is a early enrollee which means he may be able to qualify against last years recruitment?
  6. Because this year's 4 way QB battle has turned out so well? Who was the fourth QB? Tommy Eveld? I dont think so. 3 way yes, 4 way no sir. White was in the competition throughout the fall, according to Taggart. Floyd, Bench, Eveld, White I apologize. I stand corrected.

  8. Twitter are like Horoscopes for stalkers. You can justify about any conclusion.
  9. I went through every game box score since 2002 yesterday. What I noticed: 1. We won games with Julmiste/Banks with the same or worse numbers. 2. Grothes passing numbers were not always stellar yet we won. We were a running team. 3. Defense and special teams won games. 4. We are getting back to what we did well. 5. Look at Evelds numbers in his start against Louisville. He did well. He can throw for 200 yards. That is all we need from him.
  10. Our QBs are like the reincarnation of Pat Julmiste/Ronnie Banks/Brian Fisher.
  11. We cna do it. Look QB numbers when we beat Louisville circa 2005 South Florida Passing C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT QBR Pat Julmiste 4/9 93 10.3 0 1 - Amarri Jackson 1/1 11 11.0 1 0 - Team 5/10 104 10.4 -- -- -
  12. Where is the West Virginia guy to bring some sanity to this conversation. Write this down. Texas is not going anywhere without Texas Tech.
  13. They played pretty well against Cincinnati until the fourth quarter. They have good receivers. Also remember that UCONN installed a new offense so we really did not hae tape aon them. I do understand that CT and UCONN coach had previous relationship but that does not totally make them ready to play defense. Coach T on radio show said that the dime defense implemented was simplified and that there execution will get better. So there is hope that we can do better. I am amazed as to the degree that Coach T has had unscrew so much of what Skippy did. The layers of ineptness seem like a freakin onion.
  14. I would rather win games and be ugly than look good and lose games. We run. We play good defense. We score a few points. It works.
  15. If he is not bending his knee while walking that is probably a pretty good indicator he is not ready. Without his feet I would not say he is that mucch better than Eveld.
  16. Has topic ever been more derailed??? Bowl Chances = Future of College QBs
  17. Houston? As in only lost once to BYU by ONE point Houston? If they are bad what are we? Please see my second post where I put them in the category of UCF, Rutgers. Their first five opponents were suspect until BYU. I think their Offense is good but I still think we have a chance. They are certainly not Louisville.
  18. I think you may have misunderstood me. The topic is Bowl chances. I put our Bowl chances at 50% if we were to beat Louisville. I was not saying our chances of beating Louisville were 50%. I definitely think that the way our offense has played thus far it is a 20% chance of victory over Louisville and and 40% UCF, Rutgers, and probably Houston who has a pretty decent offense. BS. Beating UL will be almost ridiculous (as it was in 2005 but more so). I'm afraid the UCF game is also highly unlikely. get 4 more wins and we get a bowl game. period. We know exactly which games we need to win also-- fairly unlikely that it happens but I know we are all very much hoping it does.
  19. Beat Louisville and I put it at 50% chance. Lose to Louisville and it is at 25%. We have to beat the bad teams, Memphis, SMU, Houston, and one of the good teams (Louisville, UCF, Or Rutgers).
  20. WR or QB? I know he is ranked high as a WR not as a QB
  21. I was there for the 64-12 beat down. In the non pirate side end zone with UCF fans. It started with costumes and face pain. One hour later face pain dripping from tears no more yelling and they went home by end of third quarter.
  22. But we scored two against Miami? True we are not consistent but not unable to score touchdowns.
