  1. Off Greg's twitter feed. https://p.twimg.com/AzIpHvwCQAI9tll.jpg:large
  2. Large branding and marketing initiative in the fall..... said it again. https://twitter.com/#!/search/big%20east
  3. He said the big study they just got the results of included branding. I wonder if they are going to change the name.
  4. If there is anything that the Big East can do for you, let us know....well...where do I start.
  5. OK, www.bigeast.org just had the audio feed open and the people didn't know it and were just doing small talk until one says, "We're On!". And "Kill the audio". What a Mickey Mouse start, lol. But its on now at the Big East website. The ESPN3.com feed starts at 1pm eastern. The interm commish is going to start talking any moment, 9ish the coaches will talk, 10ish the players and at 11 q and a with coaches.
  6. I found an article that didn't mention a hip injury but said that Scott didn't pass his physical....And Felix Jones failed his conditioning test but they didn't cut him, they just held him from practice. And Mike Jenkins says he didn't ask to be traded....when asked if his agent did he was silent.
  7. Its not like there are a bunch of football teams laying around to join up and become a "football conference". Boise St didn't join a the basketball Big East conference. Its up to the teams in the Big East to up their game in every sport.
  8. I am going to bed tonight and say a little prayer that some earth shattering announcement will be made tomorrow that will rock the college football world. Doubt it will happen, but I can dream... Like the Big East is merging with the ACC or they struck a TV deal for a vast sum or lol, Notre Dame is joining in football or they hired Colin Powell, no, Norman Schwarzkopf, as the commish, LOL. The General played half back.
  9. perfect example of why program should be shut down they are out of control and too many people in power are in denial Its a public school governed by bylaws. If the president is doing things outside his charter, the board probably has a point. The whole thing wasn't done right, but it was done fast to appease a national outcry.
  10. they are not the old or new nike nike is in a class by themselves hopefully there will be more usf products for sale Maybe in your mind but in the real world, not really. Not like they used to be. UA is definitely the new hotness and Nike knows it. UA and their innovative designs is why Nike is putting out their Nike Pro Combat uniforms. In 15 years going from a garage to billion dollar plus company outfitting dozens of division 1 universities is because of their innovation and style. Reebok and Starter and Champion and Adidas and Puma had their day when they were the hottest in sports apparel. Nike's beyond their peak, UA is going up. So much so that last year the rumor was that Nike was going to buy them.
  11. Yeah, the PSU penalties were not in the scope of the NCAA's power but agreed to by their president. And it seems the board is ticked that he didn't go to them and get that approved. There may still be lawsuits flying in this mess, between PSU and the NCAA. Some former students have come forward disputing the report. What a mess.
  12. My daughter (and wife) getting a beach volleyball signed by Kerry Walsh in 2006.
  13. I'll keep that in mind Brad. It just seems to happen on this forum more than any other. And you post several photos and get that message, its a pain to figure which image caused it. First gold in Judo for Brazil. She had to hide it from her mom she was taking lessons because in her part of Brazil, the middle of nowhere, women don't do those kind of things. Sarah Menezes
  14. I've been watching Judo. I'd post more photos but apparently I am "not allowed to post with that extension". That extension being .jpg. Whatever.

  16. In regards to the 5-7 season if either UConn or ECU had fired Holtz when he had a 5 win season (1996 and 2005) with them, they wouldn't have had conference championships with him. Recruiting at USF is better than any other 15 year old program in the country, bar none.
  17. I have been looking forward to seeing him and Battles and Marc shine as Bulls for years. I remember the hype about those 3 signing with USF. Sorry to hear this and I hope he can get over his injuries.
  18. Everyone has an opinion. Mine is that looking at Holtz's two runs to Conference Championships at UConn and ECU, he had a 5 win season both times. So to me, he is on schedule for another championship within a couple of seasons if not this one.
  19. I saw Matt Hasselback Tweet his condolences an hour ago.
  20. Let's see if they are still committed on Wednesday. Or if they find out their scholarships have been taken by the NCAA.
  21. I was thinking it was smazza but the punctuation is too good.
  22. https://twitter.com/Mengus22 44m Mark Ennis â€@Mengus22 No. RT @Dgrace75 @Mengus22 Any chance their invite gets revolked depending on how bad sanctions are #UCF Expand 48m Mark Ennis â€@Mengus22 Wouldn't be shocked to see UCF really get hammered by the NCAA tomorrow.
