  1. Most likely he's been reading the BS on this board. Too young to know better. I expect most of the top commits to leave once they see how the fan base reacts to loses.
  2. leavitt let us lose against plenty of people Yeah Army was the only on that resembles this and that 2004 season was a wash because of lack of depth and injuries. Leavitt also is ten times the coach of this slappy and his assistants would run circles around these clowns. And if you think I am wrong look at Burnham, McCarney, Lane, Kravitz, Frye, and list goes on and on of guys the would poop poop on this staff in recruiting and motivationing players. Ooo by the way Leavitt's recruits or at least his big time recruits are gone by now and this what you get. I have ties to this program since I was 9 years old and I am ashamed that I have to watch this product. There is no green and gold left any more it is just brown. If you measure coaches by conference wins....no Leavitt isn't. He had his chance in CUSA and no conference title there either. BTW, you must have not been on the board when everyone started wanting to boot Leavitt because he couldn't contend, much less win a Big East title. Did you watch the ELITE 11 on ESPN? What Leavitt recruit was invited, much less won MVP at this truly prestigious competition? Do some research.
  3. Maybe playing with much more aggression will help. Pretty sure the complaint in 2010 was that we were passive. Ever since Wally bolted for ISU for like a 5K raise our defense has spiralled downhill into the dumpster fire we have today. We could have kept guys like that had Woolard have given Leavitt as much rope as Skip has for assistants. Instead Leavitt never had a shot to keep anyone wirth their salt. Leavitt actually took a larger share of the coaches pool of money than almost any coach in the country. BTW I'm sure they could have found $5k. not sure money was the reason. I think he said he wanted to coach with his son. Compare the salaries + coaches pool from Skip to Leavitt it's not even close. Yeah, I do recall Wally wanting to coach with his son. At the time it was a unrealistic suggestion, but we should bring him and his boy back. Why? There were 6-7 last year and lost to Rutgers in their bowl game. Do you want to bring back another coach that can't beat Rutgers?? The year before they were a 5 win team. 2009..7 wins! The only reasoning that makes sense with this scenario is that they are about to be fired and will be available.
  4. How many more yards does he need to surpass Grothe as the all time Big East leader in passing and rushing yards?
  5. Doubt all you want. And go back and look at their first 3 games. Their kicker makes 50+ yard FGs, they are in the top 20 in rushing yards with those two RBs even after the Clemson game, their QB is smart and mobile, going into the game he had only 2 ints after 3 games and 2 sacks. And he still has only 2 INTs after the USF game. Their schedule only has MAC teams and Army on it. They will win the MAC this year and are good enough to be in the Big East.
  6. That Ball St team is good enough to be in the Big East. They won't lose a game the rest of the year. Its not like some crappy, mediocre team with 5 losses from the MAC beat USF. They have 1 loss. Against Clemson.
  7. Ball State is going to be a 1 loss team this year, the only loss being Clemson which is headed to a top 5 ranking. Hardly embarrassing.
  8. Not sure completely why, but this post pissed me off.... completely irrational assessment on my part.... but I think a lot of it for me is just how bad the team has looked the past two seasons... To say fair weather on this board is something that just not fit... I truly believe this board has some of the most dedicated USF fans on the planet..... Skip needs to make a statement today and this team needs a big win going into next week..... Another bad year, skip needs to be on his way to being someone's assistant.... Its taken what, 5 or 6 years for "the Ole Ball Coach" to get South Carolina where its a contender. It took several years for Skip to get back to back conference championships at ECU. Its not fast food. You sound like a Cleveland fan.
  9. ESPN 3 on the. XBOX looks no different than ESPN. Actually it's a College Gameplan game, which are included on ESPN 3. It's also on the Madison Sq Gardens network.
  10. I'd take their qb, rbs, and kicker any day. Probably some of their O line too If their defense was better, I'd pick them to win.
  11. You need the Sports package on Dish, its on MASN channel 432 in SD. If you have ESPN Game Plan on Dish its in SD on channel 462. I will be watching the HD feed on my xbox 360 ESPN app.
  12. I hope the Bull's defensive line ate their Wheaties. One of their RBs averaged 10 yards per carry in week one and put up 200 yards on fellow MAC school Eastern Michigan. They are #14th in rushing yards spread among two RBs that are fast, scat back types. They also have a very mobile QB when he has to move out of the pocket. He's only had 2 sacks and 2 INTs and that includes their game against #12 Clemson. And their FG kicker is probably going to the NFL.
  13. Their RB had 200 yards against Eastern Mich! http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/video?gameId=322432050
  14. It was 45-10 at the half and it looks like most of that yardage occurred after that but don't know how much that comes into play ... They were till running against good Clemson players. Yeah, I think caught most of the second half. And I had seen some of the Eastern MIch game.
  15. They put up 42 on Indiana. If anything, their defense is the weakness.
