    Aren't we playing in Tampa? Shouldn't they be playing in their road whites? I meant red helmets vs their new chrome or black ones. The game even has it raining, which it might do. 3 minutes to go in the first half, USF up 13-7 but Rutgers is driving into USF territory.     ND vacating NBC can be good for the Big East. Just makes them even more desperate for programming.

    Not sure about that since ACC games are on ESPN and now ND is playing 5 games against the ACC. It may make more room for the Big East on NBC.

    I am playing it as an online dynasty game. I wanted to sim it while watching but you don't get that option online so I am doing it in coach mode. Also, can't change the opposing uniform in online dynasty so Rutgers has their red on. Up 10-0 late in the first, playing 15 minute quarters, but Rutgers is driving.

    ESPNCF Tweet that ND will start playing 5 ACC teams a year, basically for TV purposes making them a de facto football member of the ACC.

    I am going to try and get a correct roster into NCAA 13, play the game and post some photos. Interesting to see how they will match up to real life. No I just need the Rutgers uniform. I know they like that black uniform now. This is what they wore at Tulane, with the chrome bumper helmets. Have to check if that made it into the game yet.

    If I didn't know either team, I would go with USF just because of the difficulty Rutgers has had scoring against bad teams.

    The only reason not to throw to them is they are in the blocking scheme. Which, may be an issue this year.

    I thought that passing to the TE was a big part of Holtz's offense when he was coming to TE. And Sean Price is a receiving TE. And Landi was moved to TE and can catch. Maybe BJ prefers WR.

    Exactly. Which means that the DTs came out of the gate raring to go. Not always the best strategy as Nevada took advantage of that, knew that USF would come in hot and over pursue and get burned. Which goes to the OP's observations. They did come in ready. What they had to do was figure out what to adjust to that would work, which they did in the second half when they slowed them down.

    You have to admit that Nevada was like Houdini with that ball for much of the game, at times the camera crew had no idea where the ball went.

    Don't laugh, vote and find friends to vote. I posted on the USF facebook pages and tweeted to them. They need to mount a media effort on campus and to the alumni. BJ was a stud on Saturday.

    Please sticky this post. BJ put up video game numbers against Nevada and didn't throw an INT. He is off to an excellent start.
