  1. Take care of the ball better, keep limiting Indiana to 1 shot, and get De Silva going and the Bulls might pull off a great win for the program.
  2. Good half for the most part. Collins looked like the player we expected coming out of high school. Big Nik and Martin have to do better for the front court guys. The whole team needs to play under control better. To many unforced turnovers.
  3. Makes the team better if/when he plays. High ceiling young prospect
  4. Yeah this is the one right here. Get him signed and our backcourt next season looks Great on paper.
  5. Yeah I think he was talking about the 2017 class, but isn't that a good problem to have? Normally USF is having all kinds of heck just trying to get any good prospect to seriously look at them, but so far Coach Gregory hasn't had much trouble getting good prospects to take a serious look at USF. I think the roster will continue to improve in the years to come.
  6. This was an outstanding get by Coach Gregory and I really believe he got his #1 PG and #2 SG prospects for this class. The X-Man will be the perfect compliment to LaQuincy Rideau our explosive PG for next season. Xavier Castenda can really run a team and makes players around him better.
  7. This still is puzzling to me not because he chose Bama, but because I'm just not sure how much USF was really recruiting him. USF was after several SGs along with Wood, but once they got arguably the best one from the bunch in Rashawn Langston, all recruitment of other guards seem to stop. One of the reasons it probably stooped was USF seem to be out of scholarships at this time. I do believe they will look to add a piece in the spring when a spot likely comes open.
  8. Russ Wood @RussHoops 2018 Sacred Heart (AL) Academy SG Diante Wood will announce his school choice Wed 9am CT Choosing between USF and suspicious Alabama tomorrow morning.
  9. His team is 0-1 so far looking to break into the win column tonight. They are currently playing on ESPNU.
  10. Hopefully T Samuels isn't hurt bad enough to miss time as the Bulls really needs him. Alexis Yetna not being there could be concerning, hopefully something comes out tomorrow as to why he couldn't play.
  11. Yep they will crawl before they walk and walk before they can run. This team will probably start to play better as the season comes to an end but do expect growth under Coach Gregory. No doubt he will be the 1st HC at USF to stablize the program. Better days are coming.
  12. True...also let's add the fact that Miami got a 1st place vote to win the ACC. They have a potential POY candidate and are easily a Final 4 pick for some. They are really good.
  13. I think the Antigua debacle will soon be in the past. COA wasn't ready to be a head coach but he sure can recruit for another head coach. He's doing a good job for Illinois.
  14. Very impressed with coach Gregory and his staff. Amazing that he can recruit better at USF then at GT. Since recruiting was suppose to be his weakness, you have to be hyped about what he can do for USF since that is no longer the case. My prediction is that barring any more injuries USF finishes with a .500 or barely below record this season. By year 3 USF makes the NCAAT and the program will be at a level it has never been before. I say this because with the way they're able to recruit to a down program, just imagine what they can do with just a taste of success. If everything plays out the way I predict, USF will be running the AAC in the major sports for years to come. Yes I am the real Vega lol
  15. I'll be stunned if he comes back to play next season. The backcourt next season come be a strength for USF. Don't see where he fits
  16. Yeah he has been incredible. Recruiting was suppose to be his weakness at GT, but he has turned that around here at USF and then some.
  17. Pat Lawless‏ @PatLawless Sloan Seymour, a class of 2018 forward from Shaker HS, will go on an official visit to South Florida this weekend. This is the stretch 4 that we have been talking about. Both Seymour and SG Diante Wood are on campus this weekend.
  18. He's a fantastic looking prospect and Coach Gregory might not be done adding to his backcourt just yet.
  19. Well now the plot thickens. WE LIT ️(Diante)‏ @1k_youngtrill USF Official Visit this weekend#GoBulls 8:46 PM - 28 Sep 2017 Well this should be an interesting visit. We talked about the scholarship situation but also the scenarios where there could be 1 or 2 open up at season's end with players graduating and moving on. Wood is easily the best guard prospect in the state of Alabama and one of the top SG in the entire south coming out of 2018 HS class. Another twist is that USF chief competition of the in state schools Auburn and Alabama both have been busted by the FBI in the on going recruiting probe. Also it's interesting that Wood already has the Bull Horn hand sign and hashtag GoBulls as you see. Certainly if this visit does happen then USF plans on signing at least another player for the 2018 class. Cannot imagine they would be wasting each other's time at this point.
  20. See that's what I thought but when Trips said that there are two more left prior to the commitment of Rashawn Langston a few days agomaybe I was missing something. Any way if there is 1 more spot to fill then it will go to a taller player like a stretch 4 or another center. Coach Gregory also will have two grad transfer candidates that could move on after this coming season in Price Martin and Troy Holston. The backcourt will be very talented next season with the addition of LaQuincy Redeau, Xavier Castaneda, Langston, Lang, and a sophomore David Collins. I can definitely see Troy playing somewhere else next season.
  21. USF to the highly ranked 2018 Florida kids might be....
