I have never understood the rationale behind this chant. Perhaps this is why we can't boost our NET rating or get ranked. Every team we beat is simply overrated.

Good to see a complete combination of team performance, marketing success and fan enthusiasm. Wait, is that really USF I am seeing?

Just got back from weekend celebrating 10 years with my bride, whom I met at a USF basketball game. That was the best thing that ever happened to me being a Bulls basketball fan ... up until this year.
Games are fun again. I am looking forward to seeing where this all leads but, for now, just enjoying the ride. Very proud of what the Bulls have done this year and they have shown they can win in many ways -- come from behind, hang on at the end, etc. The key is they are actually winning the games instead of just coming close. Who knew a USF team could shoot from both the three-point and the free throw lines?. And who knew all those Dome seats could actually hold human bodies?
Truly a remarkable season.
Go Bulls!

ECU has a great baseball program, but what else?
They wear purple. If that helps.
B's BBQ and the Golden Corral Culinary Center?

Let's play smart from the start. Go Basebulls!

Great deal. Where is the Tampa Cuban , cuban crepes, pastelitos, acuban french toast, and colada? We need to show the boca owls that we have better cusine and a better team. I bet if they served Colada they would have the wildest crowd ever for a USf home conference AAC game.
Certainly the Cuban and Spanish cuisine is one of the thing I miss as a Tampa Bay area expat. I remember years ago I had a compressed real estate course at USF that met 4 hours a night twice a week. Cafe Cubano was the magic elixir that got me through that.

This whole thing sounds great. Good to see the promotions, crowds and excitement again. I hope the team and the fans feed off each other after brunch.

For the sake of my cardiovascular system, can we ask CAAR to give his halftime speech during the pregame?
In his post-game interview he expressed same basic sentiment. I like the comebacks but it seems to be playing with fire, and not necessarily in a good way.
That said, I think Youngblood may be the most consistent comeback leader I have ever seen at USF.

The FAU outcome at UAB is certainly no surprise. American Conference basketball-- even more than most --appears to be wide open for a win or a loss by any team on any given evening. From what I have seen of league play I expect a battle in every game, but I like our chances as much as anyone's.
Go Bulls!

Proud Lion Pub's last owner was Johnny G Lyon, who sits across the aisle from me at men's basketball.
Cool. Was more used to seeing him at MacDinton's back in the day.

Got my tix to Charlotte and plan to attend the alumni event prior to game. Hope both are a celebration and a party.

Nightlife around campus has been in decline for years.
Younger fans won't know these names:
Empty keg
Greenery
The Claw restaurant (really)
CDB's
Copper Top
Montana's
Kasey's Cove
Bennigans
Fridays
The Brickyard (I think that was the name, current Acropolis)
All those places at one point in time were around campus and drew in students, all gone.
The only improvement, Mr Dunderbaks moving from the mall to their current location.
have very found memories of the greenary. What a dump, but lots of good times
Didn't do Montana's, but visited all the rest along with Robiconti's, 42nd Street Station, Sea Wolf, Proud Lion Pub and more...

Nice! About 10 more conference wins and I would be a happy camper.
Go Bulls!

I think the biggest difference in your example is Gonzaga's non-conference schedule (SOS 64) is a lot better than USF's (SOS 168). Them losing 4 out of conference games doesn't look as bad as our 4 out of conference losses.
For sure their OOC scheduling is the difference. They zagged where we zigged and lost. Now the only option is to just keep winning.

With that in mind, I think there's zero chance they leave a deserving Notre Dame out of the playoff for a similar-in-record SEC or B1G team.
I'm not sure I understand what this last part means, but I think there is really only one reason for B1G and SEC to cooperate and that is to promote the interest of the B1G and SEC over anybody else.

Lol this thread may be getting crazier but Im not talking about that kind of crazy. Heck! Im going to take USF every year so I basically 1 upped T Kelce. USF>Colorado
Kelce's alma mater must be pleased as punch at this declaration.

Glad that Coach has reached out to the student body and that the students are seemingly starting to respond. I imagine he will seem more and more cool with every win.

Here's the bad guys' thread from last night. A lot of them pretty much blamed the officials for their team's choke job. I also thought the refs were not great and made (or missed) bad calls against USF. Fans are funny... Oh, and "Scoreboard!!!"

Yeah, usf was getting terrible calls or clear missed calls... can't really blame the refs on a 15 point choke job.
How most fans see any call that goes against them in a game:
BTW, I thought the refs in the UNT game were much worse than last night.

Yeah, it was kind of funny watching on TV as well. For most of the game the announcers were having a love fest with Charlotte and then, about midway through the second half, they started talking about how this could be one of "those games" where one team trails substantially the whole way and then claws their way back into it...

It’s getting absurd. The cards are stacked against us. I think I’ll not watch the tourney. Just like every other year.
Fear not. We only need to win all of our remaining regular season wins in convincing fashion, run the table in the Conference Tourney and then hop in the DeLorean, travel back in time and erase the Maine, Hofstra and UMass losses.
I'm sure then we will get the respect you crave.

It was a clump of ice. Broke in a bunch of pieces. Then the idiot threw another thing at his fellow student section which promptly led to the police finding him.
This reminds me of when we were hot in football 2007, we just can't have nice things. Fans need to act like they've been there.
I personally believe it to be harmless drunken shenanigans, I find the Tom Foolery at times to be rather amusing, just kids being kids. Doesn’t matter if you have been there or not, crowds and booze encourage Ballyhoo IMO.
