    I would give him one more year, if he continues to improve, which he has from last year then good for us.

    New Season new team. If USF is on and Auburn is off mentally then USF wins. IF we are both on, home has the crowd advantage. USF is a team that takes time to warm up, lets just hope game two they are smokin. USF can do it. Remember when we had Alabama on the ropes for the 1st quarter? We are a much improved program so everyone even the Auburn coach knows USF can beat them.

    People who come to this country for a beter opportunity and don't support us are basically a bunch of users. If I moved to Germany and wanted to live there I would imbrace the country. Far to many people want the trappings of the U.S but are the first to throw us under the bus during events like the World Cup. USF is just like that. Why because it is not popular to like USF. FSU, UF and other schools have history and lots of fans so that is easy to like those schools even when you did not go there. Take a look at the number of Gaytor fans that did not even go to school there. They like the mascot. Now, that is a reason to like a program.

    Glazers do not own Tampa Stadium. The Tampa Sports Authority controls it, however they would be the ones to kill the idea.

    They have had a coach change so that will benefit us. Time for a smack down Bull style. USF will have a more rounded team, so that small quick defense will be no good against our new running team (Ford and Co) and our agile quarterback.

    I say 4 leave for various reasons. Somebody should put together an average and in August we should post the results to see how close we are.

    What a bunch of yahoo's. Now see why ratings don't matter, you have people sitting behind computers that can't check their work rating players four or five stars. And Smazza is always touting we need four and five star players.

    We are caught in a money and competition conundrum, we need money now to bring in the top flight programs and they might not want to take less money if they have a potential to loose against us. Some of the games we have scheduled were scheduled when we were not in a BCS conference and/or just joining the Big East. I do agree with filling the stadium is key and it must come from existing students and alumni. Does anyone know if they are busing students in from St. Petersburg Campus or Sarasota Campus for the games?

    Its all about people, more FSU, Miami and UF fans, so the papers are whores and try to cater to them. Times is a pinko liberal rag anyway.

    Gentleman, Take a look at Scout.com http://southflorida.scout.com/ Click on Top Prospects. Percentage wise see how well we did on the recruits we wanted. I think now it comes down to how did our coaches do on their player homework. This is a good sign and to me shows growth in the program. I also noticed that some of the players we wanted, Pittsburgh and WVA also wanted. Go Bulls! Is it August yet?

    USF will get another Bowl next year and that will help. If we happen to WIN the BigEast then you will really see our recruiting go up. Wins, Money, and time are the factors and it that order :

    We are weak in special teams, putting and kicking (even though we had a 53 yard field goal last year). Reduction in stupied penalties and fumbles and improvement in consistency will push us into the top 25. Let us imagine, we have a 9-3 season, I hear that one of the coaches is an excellent recruiter. That should continue to push our stock up.

    Ok, we have two awesome new coaches. Defensive line will be strong, we need a better secondary. Our offiense is upgrading, if we can have some players maybe Ford or others have a great running year then we have a shot at getting into the top 25. We need to go out and be conviencing. No bad outtings. When we go to Auburn, if we lose then it is a close one and the Auburn fans sweet. I am so excited about next year. Now, everyone who reads this get two extra friends to attend one or two games this year. If all season ticket holders get one extra seat, we are looking at 15,000 in those seats. Lets fill the upper section. Go Bulls

    Lookout Big East, next year we will own you. Welcome to Tampa, get ready to feel our horns. This is the best news, what an upgrade. CJL has been slow and steady and people reconignize that he is the real deal. Can't wait for the 8th for them to annouce our recruiting class.

    Gentleman, Start looking at the players who choose USF and notice the other schools that offered scholarships. With my quick glance, I am seeing the FIU, NC, Auburn, NC State and UCF are schools we are winning players from. To me that is a great sign

    Can't wait to see the spring game. Go Bulls. We will have a balanced attack next year and that will mean we will scare teams like Louisville.

    Jenna, I will bet anyone that you will achieve your dreams. Napoleon Hill "What you think about, is what you will become". Read his book and you will see it is possible. Can you try and get USF St. Petersburg campus more involved in supporting USF Athletics? I think they need a hometown girl to motivate them. Good luck

    Rankings are a starting point, but we have all seen a player that is not ranked that takes the NCAA by storm. I played with one during my stint at USF soccer. Then we have all seen the player who is ranked high and does nothing. Now, I think that rankings gives us a pool and we want to have a mix of ranked and unranked players and we will find the gem. I like that LeRoy Selmon said, next year is going to be USF's best year. I really thought USF was going to not do well last year and low and behold, Matt Grothe was a suprise. We need more of that.
