Judy Genshaft was actually the president that introduced SMU into the conversation at the meeting apparently. SMU would make a good travel partner for TCU and might help TCU remain with the commitment to the league. Both being in Dallas though might raise questions. I actually heard it was the TCU president that brought up SMU. They used to hate each other and thus why TCU jumped CUSA for the MWC. But since have garnered a good relationship and TCU would have a deep routed rivalry in place, until they create new ones in the BE as the years go on. You just contradicted what the other UCF clown said. UCF has crappy management in the Athletic department. Why not focus on that.

UCF has two problems that this article points out. 1) NCAA investigation on recruiting violations 2) Win against BC, BYU and in my opinion FIU. http://www.theledger.com/article/20110902/NEWS/110909910/1002/sitemaps?tc=ar First, the NCAA is investigating UCF for possible recruiting violations which involve improper contact with potential signees, and that investigation is expected to be completed by the end of September. If the Knights come up dirty on this one, they face some kind of sanctions because they just got off NCAA probation in 2010 for other minor recruiting violations. .. To get a chance to join the big boys, UCF must first prove it can play with the big boys. It has already proven it is a solid second tier team, and the win over Georgia is something it can build on, but losses to Boston College and BYU would cancel out the win over Georgia and make it much less attractive to a BCS conference.
