  1. I'm sure Grothe is happy about being on the season opener ticket
  2. Well, In a way I guess. I don't have kids but I'm the oldest of four. After seeing how great of a time I had in school my brother decided he wanted to go to USF too. My parents have become huge Bulls fans. They have season tickets and drive two hours each way for games. My youngest brother is applying for USF next year.
  3. When do football tickets get mailed out? Was it the first week of August last year?
  4. Look in to flying in to Flint. We got a great deal on the flights and a car. what airlines you suggest? Southwest directly in to Flint, or check Chicago/Detroit- then take MegaBus to East Lansing (there's a stop there and the tickets are usually a couple bucks).

  7. We were talking about maybe starting an unofficial meetup at the 'Peanut Barrel'. If we get more interest, I can contact the bar to see if we can set something up.
  8. If anyone still wants to go...we have 14 in our group and looking to hit 20 by early next week.
  9. From Facebook: The new store is coming along really well! I would like to thank everyone that has helped keep my dream alive! We should be open by the weekend. New address is 2554 E. Fowler Ave. Tampa Fl 33612. We are in the same plaza as Chipoltes. Please help us spread the word by sharing this post. Thank You and GO BULLS!
  10. http://www.tampabay.com/things-to-do/food/spirits/crumb--cork-dixieland-monogram-classic-gentlemen-boutique-set-for-openings/2128874 TAMPA — Crumb & Cork encourages lingering, wine sipping and cheese sampling, all while listening to jazz in a former bank building on the corner of Franklin and Madison streets. Wine enthusiast Joshua Pillock calls his new lounge, a "Bull business," a nod to the mascot of his alma mater, the University of South Florida, and the potential of downtown Tampa. "I think 2013 is the year for emerging culinary concepts that are bringing something new and different to the Tampa market," said Pillock, who is partnering with New York transplant Joseph Saine. Set to open the first week of July, Crumb & Cork will offer more than 100 wine selections, many featured by the glass starting at $5. Lunch and dinner menus offer artisanal cheeses and charcuterie, sandwiches and salads. Happy hour specials run 4 to 6 p.m. daily. Live jazz shows are planned for weekends, topped off with Sunday jazz brunches. Crumb & Cork, 501 N Franklin St., two blocks south of the Tampa Theatre, will be open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; until midnight Friday and Saturday; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Visit crumbandcork-usa.com.
  11. Very true. I visit that plaza all the time- Chipotle, book store, froyo store, scrubs store, Little Greek, and now Bulls Outfitter. That parking lot is always packed.
  12. What issues were they having? Btw, I wonder why they moved? Did the price of the old lease go up? I feel like the road presence from their original location was a lot better than in the Chipotle complex. May or may not be true, but I heard there were issues with the landlord.
  13. Ah, the AAC... The American Athletic Conference website is selling Big Ten and ACC gear http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaaf-dr-saturday/american-athletic-conference-website-selling-big-ten-acc-112300835.html
  14. Southwest is pretty fun, maybe they'll let us play the fight song... Pretty sure a group of us sang in on the flight back from Notre Dame. We flew on a big 777 on the way back (Chicago to Miami). I wish we could have had a couple hundred people singing. One day...

  16. It sounds like there will be a lot of people on our flight up (Friday morning, nonstop to Flint). I love when the plane has a lot of green on it. It was like that when we flew to El Paso.
  17. Let us know about the tailgate. We'll be there!
  18. We only had a couple sets of seats open in our section (124). I had 5 people looking to add to our group and John Lewis let me know which ones opened after the deadline.
  19. This. RJS is a great stadium, but not for a college atmosphere (except once every few years...)
  20. As long as his tags are updated when he gets pulled over, we're fine.
