I was at work last night. Did they make everyone leave the stadium during the weather delay? It's one of the few problems with Corbett, there are no sheltered areas (either in the stadium or close by to the stadium) except for the bathrooms.

Houston is taking care of business. SMU doesn't look too bad, but the game looks just out of reach. Miami pulling away from FAU. Sparty struggling with W, Michigan.

Towson is a top 25 team in I-AA. One might make the argument that Towson is a tougher opening game than Akron. It is pitiful to see UConn struggle, but we also have to take UCF's results with a grain of salt against a very bad team.

We got our email this morning and the bags arrived before the email. Just a slight aside. Athletics needs a new mass email distributor. Many times I get emails about events after they happen. The last one being last Saturday when the Men's soccer match against UT was postponed. Well, they sent out an email announcing it was postponed and encouraging people to come to the game, except I got the email at 11:30pm well after the match was over. It's not a big deal, since I couldn't attend anyhow, but it just looks bad when its after the event. Like when you see a tv ad for a sale that ends Tuesday, but its already Thursday.

They won't. It's Student Government. Unless the students near riot to want to get their early, they won't change it. This is the same SG that threw out an election result on the t-shirt design for "Our Shirt", and barely even recognized that students were upset.

Not really a logistics error. Student Government is in charge of the buses, not Athletics. Its something to bring up with SG, but not an error.

i can't stand listening to her Same. I Miss the lineup when they launched. What happened to Todd Wright? The Old 98.7 lineup was great and I would listen all day/night Now I turn it off at noon (can't stand Jim Rome) and when "babe" comes on. Yeah, I stopped listening when they switched the lineup. What happened to all local? I hate listening to Rome and the grandma at night.

Maybe. I'm sure there is some formula between factoring in the intensity of the rivalry and the hotness of the woman.

I don't mind the white helmets, in fact, they've grown on me a little. i just wish that they would unify the three helmets by having the stripes on all of them. Make it an actual set.

All the ideas of having the band march ahead of the players sounds great, but it involves the band actually getting to the stadium earlier than they do now. They typically show up 2 hours before kickoff, and still have to get dressed and tune up (all this after a walk-thru on campus). I can't wait for the day when we have our own stadium and the band marches thru campus, stops at the Marshall Center lawn for a performance, then precedes to the stadium.

I hope so. I thought NBCSN would make a go of it, and they started off great with "The 'Lights" but they've since dropped all the highlight shows all together and are back to filler programs on hunting/fishing.

Wow. I'm stumped on this one. My first thought was Wyoming, but it doesn't have the cowboy on it and the colors are wrong. Then I thought McNeese State, but the same thing, no cowboy and wrong colors. I get the feeling this might be a DII school or a secondary logo.

Yes, I remember that bookstore very well. What else would you like to see on campus that is not academic (buildings) or athletic (stadiums) in nature similar to MLK plaza and the statue? What about other statues similar to MLK? A bell/clock tower? Water fountain? Outdoor art? The non building landmarks that stick out to me are MLK statue, Marshall Center Bulls, water tower, solar rotary. What about a war memorial to honor grads that have given the ultimate sacrifice? I think a war memorial tower would be very special. I've always thought it would be cool to add some high powered lights in the glass atrium of the bookstore so that it is lit up at night time.

I don't fully disagree with you. He doesn't need to be dead, but definitely retired. I'm just saying I think it should be in the future. Main point was about the USF Ball Grounds, not the personal field naming.
