  1. They get rewarded for a 26-win season with a bus ride to Tally in the same region as UConn as a 6 seed. What a job by committee. Well, gotta keep earning respect.
  2. Still think they need to add a JUCO grinder for next year - a mature guy who will throw his weight around, defend and rebound (the role Ron Anderson played so well on the NCAA team). No one on the roster fits that role and it's needed if they're going to take another step forward.
  3. D-A-V-I-D C-O-L-L-I-N-S From now on, I'd only recruit kids named Collins.
  4. Sit the starters and rest them. We'll get more out of this game that way. :-)
  5. Better go find a couple rugged jucos who are willing to defend in the post and rebound because none of the current post guys even consider it part of their game.
  6. ?? How can you say this? There is NO evidence to support it. We have no idea who the QB will be and Cronkrite was beaten out by Scarlett and run off by limited playing time at UF - one of the worst offenses you'll ever see. He was explosive? Show me. I'm hopeful, too, but a "skyrocketing passing game, more explosive running game and 600-yard avg." without guys like Q, Rodney Adams, Marlon Mack, MVS, Tice, Johnson? Wow, that's some stretch! I do like the confidence and optimism, but there is no evidence at all . . . yet.
  7. The numbers lie. I'll bet if you asked her how she played, she'd agree. She traveled at least 3 times, consistently dribbled into double teams and turned the ball over seven times. That's not her game. We can't win without her numbers but she struggled. If she plays her typical clean game, we win by 10 in regulation. I'm not piling on her by any means. She's our most consistent player and arguably the team MVP.
  8. Did you watch the game? The numbers lie. She was a turnover machine all game long.
  9. Agreed. But it was a nice escape given Jesperson's struggles. If she plays her usual game, it's not that close. She was a turnover machine and her shooting was way off aside from the FT line.
  10. Worst game I've ever seen Jesperson play. She's totally flustered
  11. Worst rebounding effort I have ever seen. Among the many things Gregory needs to improve with his recruiting is the athleticism. They get beat to every ball and out jumped.
  12. I'll tell you what, if and when we ever get this turned around, USF fans deserve a Final Four for all the punishment we've endured over the past years.
  13. Yetna and the three signees in this cycle need to all be legit. If so, with Brown and Collins, we can get this thing back to respectability.
  14. You couldn't be further off base. You clearly don't understand the reality of USF's position or the economics of college athletics.
  15. You seriously think we need a coaching change? Go look up what this program was before he took it over. It never sniffed the postseason of any kind and rarely posted double-digit wins. The dude has won 19 or more games 10 times - this year will be 11. We've been to five NCAA Tournaments - this year will be six. He's arguably the most accomplished coach in USF history - in any sport. Someone is going to do better? Who?
  16. Anyone who suggests firing Jose, even in jest, has clearly lost his/her mind. This guy should have a statue built. Pre-Jose, that program was a worse dumpster fire than our men's program is right now . . . although the guys are catching up pretty fast.
  17. Whatever. I saw a tired team, which could be a reason for the poor shooting. If he goes a little deeper on his bench for minutes, we may be a team with fresher legs, which could lead to better shooting. Back-to-back road trips in five days isn't easy and your four primary players played: Ferreira (80 minutes), Flores (73 minutes), Jespersen (67 minutes), Laksa (67 minutes)
  18. True this. There was a time that baseball was the only sport that UCF was around .500 vs. USF. The Bulls dominated just about everything else. They've gotten better, we've stood still and men's basketball has been the biggest missed opportunity in school history. From hiring Lee Rose and winning the Florida Four to this?
