UF needs to fire everyone. Top to bottom. They have a $100M athletics budget and lost to Ga Southern. Like I've said many times, Doug is the Director of Athletics, not football. Yes, it's the high profile sport, but it's also only one sport. Our men's soccer team just went to it's 7th straight NCAA tourney., our lady Bulls basketball recently won an NIT title, our softball team is a perennial great team, our men's basketball recently won our first NCAA tourney game, our men's golf team is currently ranked #14. It seems to boil down to those who look at football as the athletics department, and those of us that look at the athletics department as a whole.

Looking forward to a great tailgate and hopefully a surprising result. If it is remotely as bad as some are saying then it is 100% different than UF/FSU and FSU/UM, I've been to several games in The OB , the swamp and Doak and NEVER felt threatened. The way UCF feels about USF is downright unhealthy. I have my own personal interaction story. The girl went OFF about how UCF is a real school and USF sucks. You don't hear FSU, UF, and UM fans saying stuff like that especially at a non sporting event.

Probably should be worded better. This just means that there's no doubt that Winston was with the woman before the charges were filed. The fact that his DNA is present is no indicator that a crime took place. No indicator of whether or not any sexual contact was consensual or forcible. I believe they are going back over records now to see if there was any injury to the woman consistent with her story. If not, it's going to come down to he said, she said. Even with our new conference, we are nationally known. So if we can ever figure out how to score goals again, we'll be in the hunt for at large selections. Think about it, we only have 3 losses.

Doug was at both the men's game on Saturday night and the women's basketball game last night, but then you wouldn't know that, since you weren't there! Saved me the trouble. He gave us some tix for floor seats at the men's game. Saw him the next night at the ladies game. To the rest of your post. The crummy product meaning the football team under a new head coach and new offensive and defensive schemes??? Or the men's basketball team that just added a top 25 recruiting class with 3 of them seeing lots of floor time already and a top shooting guard coming in for next year??? Or the women's basketball team that hung in there with #8 Maryland and plays hard for all 40 minutes??? No, we aren't competing for national championships but, then, only a handful of teams in the country really do that. Ricky, bubbi, you know that athletic department is code for football team here at USF. So what if many of our sports annually compete in post season tournaments. FWIW Doug was at a few soccer games this year as well.

That's what I've been saying for awhile. These 2 schools offer the most in name brand, followed by UConn, Boise, UCF, USF, etc...we need them to go to 14-16 teams. As unfortunate as it is for us, yes, this does make the most sense. Wish they would consider the Florida markets we (or along UCF) would bring, which they lack. Conferences want brand recognition, something neither of us carry... yet. Unfortunately conferences look more at HISTORY than POTENTIAL. Even with our past sucess and UCF's current season. However... I do belive Greg Swaim knows ABSOULTELY JACKSHAT about what will happen. He probably knows about the same as Tux-Yoda or TheDude He has VERY thin skin. He tweeted some idiotic political statement. I told him he should stick to something he knows very little about, like college athletics. For some reason he took extreme exception.

I was planning on doing the alumni thing, but I have a few concerns. There's a 2 hour bus ride in good traffic, to make sure that the bus gets there in time you'd think that it would leave NLT 3 hrs prior to KO. How early is that going to be? If a nooner, bus has to leave at 9:00 meaning tailgate starts at 6/7AM? Even if 3:30 still pretty early.

Actually it's quite easy to tell if a WO is going hard on every play. How crisp are his cuts, how is his down field blocking, how quick does he get off of the line. Not making any comment on anyone in particular. Unless someone has access to "coaching" game tapes, they can't see every player on every play.
