the defense lived by the "bend but don't break" ideal

if anyone has watched that FSU defense i find it hard to believe that they are overrated. at this point i think FSU might be playing for the title. Weatherford is getting better everytime he gets out on the field. i dont want to get this too far off topic but you cant just throw names of schools out there and say they are overrated.

students had their keys waving in the air saying warm up the bus. however, in a football atmosphere you need simple chants that can be heard and understood. I agree, we are UNDERRATED. but like someone said, you don't start a "we are underrated" chant. whoever thinks we shouldnt chant overrated i ask you to stop sitting on your hands and make your own **** noise so you can't even hear what the students are saying. instead, you are too busy selling your tickets to opposing fans and just not even showing up.

i do not think an on campus stadium will solve the problems...but a little better crowd management is in order.

and people wonder why USF just can't seem to kick this "commuter" school sterotype. its not that they won't let us rush the field but its just the fact that USF does not have their own "college" faciliaties to have a "college" atmosphere. USF will continue to be known as a place to get an education while living in a big city. It will not be known as a place you can go to get a TRUE college experience that you will remember for all your life. I can completely understand protecting the goal posts and I think tearing those down is one of the most idoitic traditions known to sports. Those West Virgina pics are just exactly what should of been done last night. Protect the goalposts with teargas, clubs, riot gear etc... however, if a student is just trying to run out to mid-field to join in the celebration that is already going on there with all the players who are fellow classmates, friends, brothers, etc. then what is the harm in that.

yea since ESPN owns the rights to the game it is very doubtful we will see this broadcast again

i saw that...it was a sign of things to come. but really, that mascot should be benched...haha. could you imagine if that was a nationally televised game and they showed louisville come out of the tunnel and then boom....the mascot leading them on the field falls down. the only thing that would of been more funny is if some players tripped over him as he lay on the ground.

geez..i never saw so much complaining for fans cheering in my life. sure the chant was not the best one but i was in the student section and trust me...we started A LOT more U-S-F chants then the over-rated chants. its just silly that instead of pointing out all the good the student section has done this season you come on here and complain about a chant that a few people tried to start that really DID make sense (louisville is NOT #9 in the nation) and forget to even give the students props for all the great things that happened in the student section last night. a few years ago you same people were complaining that the studnets never showed up, now you complain because you don't like their chants. give it a break. from what i can tell last night is the biggest problem with the home crowd is all the donors that do not show up or give their tickets away. i saw blocks of atleast 20 seats right in the first or second row on the 50 yard line that were not being used. that is the problem, not the students chanting a somewhat classless chant. focus on the real problems here. maybe if there was ANYONE else in the stadium TRYING to make noise then the bad student chants wouldn't be heard as well.

how late in the show is it when they start to talk about USF. its an hour long show and ill stay up if its in the first 30 min

college kickoff also re-airs at 1 am tonight for those of us who are always up late

i do not see any flights even close to that price. best thing i saw was $117.

i know i couldnt do it. it sucks that some people were put in the position they had to do it. both my dogs are family to me.

we need to get to a bowl game then we can talk about getting more recruits. if we beat louisville saturday they will still be a top 25 team and we will still NOT be a top 25 team. i dont think recruits weigh their choices on individual W or L as much as fans think. you have to understand that most recruits, even if they are sitting on the sidelines during a loss, are thinking well if this school had my talent we'd win that game. high school kids are more concerned with the consistancey that a program has with being top 25 and bowl games, along with national exposure. all 3 that USF does not have right now and louisville does.

i think if the game was going to be more competitive in a lot of our fans eyes then more would travel. unfortantely most of our fans think we dont have much of a shot. so driving 4+ hours to see an ass whoopin isnt too high on the priority list

you can also buy tickets for non students to sit in the student section. they are $16 at the sun dome box office. you have to be a student to buy them but you can get as many as you want

PJ's ability to throw catchable balls this season has increased probably 100%. Last year he throw some awful balls that didnt even give our guys a chance. we had a few drops to start the penn st game but that might of been some jitters. im confident in our QB and WRs and think that we can get 200 yards thru the air this weekend. then another 200 on the ground.

i havent read anywhere that deion is a relative. possible he could be friend to someone in the family. noel does go to north ft myers which is were deion and jevon kearse went. i k now he turned down living in the plush accomidations of deion's house in texas with deions kids and wife so that he could come back to ft myers and live with his grandmother in the projects. hopefully that same sense of staying close to home can bring him to USF. although Miami is just about as close to ft myers as tampa is.

did anyone notice that at the bottom of that article is says this is louisvilles first time visiting RayJay?? geez...if the local media can't even keep track of one of our greatest home victorys how do we expect to get any national attention

i still think t here needs to be more done ON campus on thursdays to hype the students up about the games.

but hey...we don't do any major research at this university right? between this and the things going on over at Moffit Center...USF never does anything. we are just a poor academic institution right? there is no major research being done at USF when it comes to battling against chemical warfare or weapons of mass destruction. these UCF fans just baffle me.

yea i would not recommend trying to use someone else's ID unless its pretty similar. also, the IDs only work if that student is currently enrolled in classes
