What a waste of an opportunity. I can see his reasoning on some level.. you want to be apart of a championship caliber team to ensure you get noticed. However, Dyer would be a stand-out and ensure a better draft stock at USF. This just proves that his decision making skills haven't improved. We are better off without him.
I doubt his "draft stock" would be impacted any different regardless which school he played for. He has already proved what he is capable of doing, it is just a matter of proving he can stay healthy, work hard, and stay out of trouble. If he gets 500 yards or 1,500 yards this year it won't matter. So much of "draft stock" is based on combine measurable.
