on paper we look pretty good but there are probably 20 D-lines that look better on paper. but i agree- the best pass defense is a good pass rush. -
happy to be a 49er fan and have him as our LB coach. although i think after this year he might get a look as DC somewhere in the NFL

and he isn't in at QB. no love for Daniels in game 1. Announcers just said that he was a QB in college but if he is to make this team it will have to be for another position and then be an emergency QB.

the clock isnt working in his favor. the 49ers havent had a new series on offense in the 4th qtr yet and there is only 6 min left in the game

tonight at 1am it is replayed. BJ Daniels will probably play the entire 4th qtr at QB for the 49ers

sorry if some of these comments seem random but im just writing them as i watch the game. Tolzien has NFL experience but has always been a 3rd string QB. The niners are going to build an offense around a mobile QB and he has shown he is clearly not one. Colt McCoy can run a little bit. But Daniels is the closest to Kaep from a skill stand point.

Tolzien isn't doing much and just showed how slow he is. that is a plus for BJ.

Perrish Cox is having a beast of the game not only as the 3rd CB but in the Punt Return game. I don't see BJ making the team so far. My belief is still the same as it was on draft day. Niners drafted him to be Russell Wilson 2 weeks of the year on the practice squad.

but i will say...seeing Kaep throw 4 passes and then McCoy and Tolzien come in after..... McCoy and Tolzien do not have the arm strength that Kaep and BJ have. I think Niners fanns will be impressed with how much BJ resembles Kaep (minus 6 inches in height)

tolzien just ran a SOLID 1 minute drill to get the 49ers a FG before halftime. BJ has work to do but yea you will see a lot of him in the 2nd half

There probably isn't another college coach in the nation that is as plugged into two of the top HC's in the NFL thank Taggart and the Harbaughs.

students actually do a pretty good job of showing up to the games. (obviously when you go 3-8 it isn't going to be gangbusters)

students just need to wear green. doesn't matter if it is a tank top with a glittery bulls sign, a green shirt from a concert, or a green polo....JUST WEAR GREEN!!!!

the student section cannot wear blue. It is bad enough we see all these red seats every where else. the students need to be in dark green and nothing else.

Louisville needs to get beat down this year. Having them win anything is a worse look for our remaining conf. I would rather see UCF make it to a BCS game before Louisville. and yes, i have thick skin and can handle the trash talk from their fans if that happened. Hell...i WANT that rivalry to happen.
